I'm needing a break cue and thinking about one of the mezz, PB, PBII, or Duel force.

Any opinions? Love to here 'em.

thanks,

Power Break II............

PBII is awesome, I love the fact that its 54 inches so that where I grip at the butt I can really follow through with a lot more power

I used to play with a predator bk2 and switched over to a mezz shorty, dpII break cue. b/c the break cue is shorter, u have to grip it higher and that allows u to deliver a break w/more follow thru. my break isnt all that but the shorty lets me deliver the cb head on to the rack and get a good spread. i tried the dual force and it has a cool grippy component to it if u like that but im partial to a wrapless cue. also if u dont have a jump cue, the dual force is a good jump break cue since its like having a break cue w/2 jump cues in one.

I currently play with a pbII with a new deep impact pro shaft, the same one mika uses. When i bought it, it had the original deep impact 2 shaft. The diff is the new shaft has an ash component on the base of the shaft so its super stiff. i think it let me get better results than the original shaft w/o putting in extra force.

anyway hope this helped :)

poolmonkey, where did you get the deep impact pro shaft from and how much are they?

....Dont you work for Mezz USA?

my friend who is a local pro signed a deal with mezz. he got a cue, breaker, and jumpski. that break cue hits like a steal pipe. it is redonkulously stiff. only thing i do not like is the rubber wrap. not the grip part but it moves around constantly wrinkles up rolls up ect. if it moves alot it is damn near impossible to get back right. took us like an hour.

as long as u dont mind a wrestling match everyday its ok. it does break good tho. 400$ good??? i dont know about that but too each his own.

he has the pb1 i guess
