help

I know I havent been on here like I used to, I think it was just a bit of laziness and watching too much television.......................

After seeing this tremendous response for one of the industries world class cuemakers and world class man, I realize how much I miss being on here.

All of your responses and kind donations make me so very proud to be a member of this fraternity of fantastic pool loving people.

Please......Please, say hello at VF if your going, so I can give you a hug...LOL

Lets keep this going as long as we can to help out Connie and the family.

Steve, I just talked with Connie and was given the sad news of Mike;s passing. Mike was a very generous and kind hearted man and a dear friend. I just had given Mike a fellini starburst case that he asked me for. The one i got from Nick Serdula for $800.00. If you could help sell the case for Connie i will donate the proceeds to help out. Mike and i had made a deal for a cue using the case as a partial payment since Mike wanted it. It's better going to the Cochran family. Mike will be greatly missed by me to say the least. I am also sad for Tim losing such a close friend. Rest in peace my friend.
Bob Corcoran from MD..

There is an anonimous friend that will be writing a 10K check to Connie to cover expenses.
If anyone else wishes to contact the family directly I will help.
I may sell my cue in the future. It will be payment made to Connie. It will be 8K.
Nick :)

Thanks NICK

Now that I'm done crying and drinking since 11:00 in the morning till late last night. I'll be going down there Thursday and giving Connie a check for $10,000.00.Over the last years I purchased a lot of Cochran and Scruggs cues, and I had the privilege to talk to Mike 2-3 times a day and we swapped emails daily.Mike was a great friend and will be missed forever.

Eric, there was never a doubt that you would be there for the family....Mike certainly loved you.

Thanks so much,
Steve

This is truely sad news. I just recently became friends with Mike and worked out a great deal on a cue with him. Paypal on its way Steve. Thanks for posting this thread. RIP MC.

help

I cant say enough about all the people that have participated in this fundraiser for Mike Cochran.

PLEASE KEEP IT GOING............................................................

Let's bump this back to the front.

C'mon folks...any amount would help the family of one of our most respected cuemaker's right now. If you can afford even a little, it will go a long way.

Joe

Steve, thanks for setting this up and getting the ball rolling. Paypal inbound.
It is very nice to see all of you step up and open your wallets to help out the family. It really speaks to what kind of man Mike was.

Photos of Mike

Here is a few pictures of Mike.Mike was by far one of the most generous people I have ever met. I'm not trying to push anybody in to doing something they are unable to do do, but Mike worked his butt off in a tough business to support his family and to give this billiard community some of the very best cues made, and like most of us did not like thought of going to a doctor or a hospital. In other words no life insurance. So if you can please donate what you can to help his family get through this terrible tragedy.

Thanks Eric
