Mike dechaine 2023

You do realize that you are talking about the ranking in a country where pool is in the doldrums, and we can barely field two players capable of reaching the final 16 in a major event these days? How do you think #3-#5 in America would do against #3-#5 in Poland? "Overtaking" Skylar is not really a big deal, considering that he never should have had to "overtake" him in the first place. Even without Fedor, Shane is "just barely" the better player over Skylar these days. If Skylar gets some coaching from Mark Wilson on his preshot routine and quick transition, I think he maybe takes the second spot away from Shane, behind Gorst.
Are you smoking crack? ah ha ha. Skylar better than Shane. When Shane is 100 and Skylar is 85 Shane will still be better, even if Sky works with Mark Wilson for eternity.

In 4 Mosconi Cups he won 1 game of singles and 2 games of doubles.

I get the feeling his game hasn't dramatically improved since then.
Sounds like you outta try him for something....

SVB isn't doing too great either.

Dechaine still on tier with Skylar...if there was a reason for him to play pool.

Bergman is a complete nonfactor...so he's not in the equation.

Then we drop to Billy and Styer....I'd bet they wouldn't like betting their own vs Dechaine.

Well Albine doesn't shoot straighter than SVB and he made it to the finals. Ko should have been there again and he doesn't shoot any straighter than SVB and neither does FSR, but both having been winning. I agree that with the new breakbos rules SVB doesn't have as big of an advantage, but uts not like he cant figure it out.

He does everthing well that he decides to do, so lets see what he decides to do about the new hit and hope break rules..., my Moneys on Shane!
Ko shoots straighter than anyone....because his cueball is the best in the world.

I agree with the break rules hurting SVB's dominance. I don't like this 9 on the spot, cut break and cueball going everywhere break. It's amateurish. It leads to more pushouts abd safeties which is fine....but it's a different game.

If SVB plays Sky with winner breaks, 1 on the spot, race to 100 he'd beat him by 20 to 25 games.

It definitely looks amateurish, APA level pro play. Lets extend the races, put the 1Ball on the spot and may the best man win!

I'll bet Tyler would play Mike for $$$.
There is no way Mike will get back to his top level in time for any match in the next 6 months even if he tried.
Tyler stays in action and has had a pretty good year.
Prime Mike beats current Tyler but that is not a real possibility.

I actually think it’s incredible. Imagine not really playing competitively in over 5 years and the only player people can compare you to in Shane. Wow!
I just think it's because he's more interesting to talk about.

I'd love seeing Shane win a 6th US Open, but the odds of that happening diminish each year.

DeChaine? Yes, he did bring many of his troubles on himself. But from reading here, I've gotten the impression that since making a decent living selling windows, he's mellowed a lot, has become fun to be around. I hope that's true, and as a guy who will never reach anything near that level
of skill, I wish him well.

Tyler's worst game....not sure who he beats with that.

Well they all gamble and aint hard to find? None of them turn down action, so if its that easy he could make as much Money in a weekend beating them as he does selling windows and still keep his job.

I'd like to see it!
That ain't the way gambling goes. He may (may) win something for a while, but then they will quit him (they ain't retards). Steady, predictable income with benefits is the smart way to go. Good on MD for his responsible decision.
