That's pretty strong...I saw Hillbilly Charlie Bryant knock one of the corner balls off the table breaking 8 ball in the IPT...I think that one was clocked at around 38 mph.

Nope. The best he was clocked was 34.7 mph with an X-Breaker cue. He was given the distribution rights for the same model he used, purpleheart, called the X-Breaker X-347. I use one now, but apparently mine has a governor on it and will only go up to 20 or so.

What is the world record speed for a break? Is it in the G. Book of Records?

I was talking about the break.

It was over at that booth with the radar gun where you could win prizes with break speeds. Corey, Hunter, Dave and I were over there and Corey just started teeing off on the thing. Within a dozen tries he went from a high speed of around 26-27mph, right up to 33mph.

I was pretty shocked to see that the player who is renown for the slow break, could also consistently achieve one of the fastest breaks while keeping the CB on the table. Also pretty impressive considering that Corey isn't exactly a big dude.

Anyway, no disrespect intended Mike when I said that Corey gives you the 7 when it comes to the break shot. With the exception of Shane, Busti, Deluna, and maybe one or two others, Corey gives everyone that spot.
