Commentary

Strickland really is very good in his commentary. I like the way the other announcer treated him with respect too. To have a living legend come into the booth is special indeed.

I wonder if this match will be posted to youtube. I'd like to hear Earl doing commentary. I've never heard him do commentary
 
Earl's commentary is a trip! One of my favorite lines was earl to mike ( this shot is like pulling teeth, he either makes it or he looks like a IDIOT!) then he misses lol, gotta love it!!+1
 
I really enjoyed Earl's commentary. I especially liked it when he would say "he played the wrong shot". When you watch a pool match, notice how long the one shooting, takes in setting up a difficult shot. When Earl is shooting, he takes hardly any time at all. He is an amazing talent and listening to his perspective is awesome.

I was really impressed with Mike's position shots. He drew back 3 rails for perfect position on one shot. What a stroke!

I enjoyed Earl also. I got a kick out of him guessing how the guy would shoot the next shot. He was wrong 1 out of 3 times LOL. That's how different Earl plays the game. Both those players have good strokes so played some shots Earl's way, but if someone doesn't have a great stroke they can't play some of the shots Earl plays routinely. Johnnyt

PS: Earl has that wrist action going on.

It's good to know that at least in his head, he hasn't gotten there yet....
