Fist, let me apologize for once again surreptitiously bumping this thread...However, I feel I did a disservice to the AZ community for posting a picture of the Simpsons which I believe was completely inappropriate for this thread...note that I didn't say I was "wrong" for posting it...just that it was inappropriate for this thread! I believe a far more appropriate picture for this thread and the two individuals involved would be:

I'm not apologizing for bumping this thread, it should stay on page 1 until its resolved or some banning occurs. What I don't quite understand is why aren't these two's reputations lit up RED like a damn stop sign????? Here's our way of letting others know to stay away when this thread dies. Lets do our job as honest AZ'ers and spread some red, warn others, and take out the riffraff.
 
If 3 threads on this subject have not lit a fire under Mr. Kennedy to resolve this issue, it clearly is not going to happen. Rep lost already. I suppose he's wishing it will just go away. If it were me, the second a thread was started, I would have resolved it. Then again, it should have been taken care of before then.
 
So did Donkey make it right?

I see he was buying some George cases, the other day...so keep a lookout for them marked up 25% over what he just paid for them.

I have to agree with the Nutz. I started reading this with one opinion on both parties involved and have finished it with an entirely different one.

Yep I know what you mean. I started out thinking Punkinhead was overreacting but now I'm thinking maybe Donkey sold or traded the DVDs and can't return them. Why else wouldn't you just send them back and be done with it. I'm waiting for another episode of '' As The Cue Ball Turns'' :rolleyes:

Nope. Nothing. I don't think I'll ever see the DVDs again. Sucks too because I really liked those match ups. AZ be aware of Mike Kennedy "acedonkeyace".

I've never seen his prices that low.

Everything he tries to sell is "rare" and "collectible". And marked up very often more like 100%.

Hahahaha what a load of bs. I just found this site while looking for cues, for one im shattered i just wasted 15 minutes of my life reading all this, and i think its pretty clear the dvds are long gone. He would have given them away already or sold them on ebay, hence his justification with photos n such.

I have dealt with plenty of people like "mike" and they have no remorse. People like him should be banned as it does not look good to new people finding this site. It got you guys one more member though!!!

Everyone is entitled to their opinions........but it's sad that the moderators haven't stepped in yet on this thread and buried it.

Before anyone rushes to final judgement about Mike Kennedy, let's simply remember that none of us on the Forum truly knows what happened or didn't happen aside from reading these rambling posts that offer a potpourri of opinions and advice.

Remarks about what transpired, or about Mike Kennedy, are being shaped or influenced by the threads we read about this apparent problem.......not necessarily the actual facts but rather speculative comments by others. It simply means opinions are being formed about what really happened, or failed to happen, based entirtely upon 4th and 5th hand information. The truth is only the two combatants really know what took place. Please let's also let's keep in mind that some individuals could have a tendency to embellish their version of the facts when reciting them so everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

This thread is going nowhere and maybe there's more to this issue than what currently meets the eye........I betcha there's shared culpability with both parties to start with and this topic to has been beaten to death "ad nauseam".

Under the Wanted/For Sale Forum Rules, under rule #3, this thread should be shut down, or moved, by the Forum Moderators if they adhere to the new Forum rules they actually crafted. At the very least, this thread is in the wrong section and should be transferred from the Wanted/For Sale Section to the Main Forum to satisfy and comply with the new Forum rules enacted earlier this year.

Dont agree about 4th and fifth hand information. Mike Kennedys account and Pumpkinheads account of events seem to be the same as to what originally happened. The only controversy is not the originals happenings of events but why the vids have not been returned. I think almost all AZers would of disposed of this situation of events by returning the tapes many weeks ago.Opinions are like a--holes, everyone has one. This is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

it hasnt been beaten to death until he has returned his dvds and this thread needs to be here because mike kennedy is still trying to sell all kinda stuff but he still hasnt made this right and if you read mikes post he pretty much admits that he is wrong but in his twisted mind he thinks we are to stupid to know he has sold the dvds are just does not want to give them back and if anything should be banned it should mike kennedy
 
You are totaly WRONG..Not defending or condeming eather of the 2 partys involved........but Mike did respond and agree he had the dvd's and was supposed to return them, and has not.......so where do you think both partys sides have not been heard...and people have been jumping to judge Mike........Mike for what ever reason will not send back the first partys property.......your playing forum police again where its not warrented...........OTB

Maybe when the views reach that of "Update on the Des Moines pool scene" or "Funny pic/gif thread..." this will be settled or the mods will have done it. I havent posted much for sale lately but have bought several things and for those trying to sell, this is has to be monotonous.

Possibly in the future there can be a Wanted / For Sale sticky where parties can express their views or complaints on transactions. In the long run it would save lots of "he said she said" clutter that continuously bumps legitimate threads further down.

i have been trying to sell a cue and i want this thread at the top cause if mike isnt going to do the right thing he doesnt need to be selling his items on this site. it only takes 1 bad apple to ruin a whole barrel if he is allowed to do things like this it will drive buyers away
 
dvd's

I don't get the big deal of shipping copied dvd's back. Do you know how much bootlegging goes on in this country. They aren't scanning any mail otherwise it would have got caught coming there, and last I knew there weren't any DVD smelling dogs goin around.

:deadhorse: lol I knew that little guy was around here....sorry for bumping it again. But seriously I hope everything works out and the problem is resolved BC I'm growing tired of my tablet taking forever to load the thread :smile:
