I didn't knock anybody's playing ability. I just made an observation after I watched the video. If it will make you feel better, I'll make a video of me missing a lot of shots and you can comment on it.
And talking about mentors, I met and played a couple games with Scott's mentor Jack White at Keesler AFB, MS in 1973. He missed more balls than I did.

It was a big advantage to look young with a pretty girl on the road, just had to be careful

I would have to say that before the internet explosion, it was an art form to sneak into places without being knocked at your level of play. :thumbup: I would've thought a beautiful woman on your arm was a problem because of the attention it draws when you hit the door. I guess it could work in the opposite way where nobody even notices the guy that's escorting her!

Then the girl would come back an hour or so later and start talking to "other" guys pretending to make me jealous. This was the clincher, now all the guys wanted to beat me to "win" her attention (and maybe more).
I have several stories of winning huge scores using this scenario. One thing that's certain in a pool room, men will always do things they shouldn't when beautiful women are present......especially when it has to do with gambling. 'The Game is the Teacher'
