Does anybody here at az recall watching are hearing any stories of MIKE playing in any big dollar money matches,i hear that nobody play harder or better then MIKE for the money!ps.i now all about the vegas ordeal,so please no more of that!

come on guys no stories about the oldest man to ever win the us open.anything, go ahead you can talk about vegas if thats all u have.
Here's a recent thread that contains a recent Mike LeBron story: "The Game Still Calls."
When the concept of the International Pool Tour (IPT) came to the fore, it was announced by saying they would hand-pick 200 players who e-mailed them their contact information as well as a description of their pool-playing history.
A controversy erupted by many claiming that this was an unfair selection method by the IPT because some pool players don't have use the Internet or a computer. Mike LeBron was one of these players who felt he might miss out on this opportunity since he didn't know how to use the computer.
Seeing Mike's disappointment, I offered to help. I filled out the IPT form, gave them all of Mike's pertinent pool data, and e-mailed it to the IPT admissions office ASAP, trying not to miss the deadline. Lo and behold, Mike was one of the "lucky" 200 IPT members to be initially selected: Mike LeBron's IPT bio.
When we were at the Skins Billiards Championship in Atlantic City a while back, Mike LeBron was on site. He knew everybody at the casinos, it seemed. The man had clout. He got me and mine into a private club where they had free buffet and fine spirits. He doesn't forget his friends.
The oldest player to ever win the U.S. Open at 54 years of age, Mike LeBron shows it's never too late to claim a victory.

JohnnytLike i had said in a previous post ,MR.LEBRON is a very nice man to speek with,we had a great conversation at derby city last year,he talked to me like we knowed each other forever and it was the first time we met,where else but pool can you do this,at the derby this past year i look over and see MIKE just sitting there all alone watching pool matches,so i get enough of nerve up to go and introduce my self to MIKE,not having no idea how he is going to react to me intruding in on him,but like i had said it was as if we were friends,MIKE was very talkoftive and really enjoyed our conversation which iam so glad that i started,here is a past us open champion that still loves the game very much and still loves to go to alot of tournaments and socialize with players and fans,after our conversation i lefted feeling like i was one of MIKES friends,thats the way he made me feel,thanks MR.LEBRON!
