Miranda Cues

Simply put it, he's saying that expensive cuemakers' designs are now more affordable with Miranda Cues doing it and therefore why not, although I'm pretty against this idea of going the cheap way....

I myself own a Miranda too, but I have no way copied or stolen any of these designs. Simple custom is all I can say of it.

Getting it cheap is ok. But jacking up the price is no tolerable thing.

You got a cheap facsimileof a good cue. You got what you paid for.

That smells foul, i have heard of a lot of funky sellers who only take payment that way.

Design theft???

Heck...look at all the cues from all the top cuemakers? they all copy the willie hoppe style cue... I don't see anymore screaming design theft!! All the best cuemarkers in the world have built cue one of these cues in their career. Tim Scrugg, Bill Stroud, Danny Jane, Tascarella, the list goes on...hell you're saying that anyone who built a willie hoppe is a stealing the designs from the original willie hoppe cue? So everyone we design a 4,6,8 points cue are stealing a design? Mcworter built cue that look exactly like a southwest? Southwest built cues that are exactly like a Kersenbrock? So these guys don't have any design inspiration? Bill Mcdaniel and Paul Mottey have very similar design in some of their cues?

Show me a cue, from the one that I've designed that any of the top cuemaker have built that exactly like mine? No cue is the same... the design may be similar like a willie hoppe..but the construction of the cue and process involved is totally different from one cuemaker to another.

In my opinion and many other that have tried the Miranda Cue...they play great!! Can wait to get my Inspired Southwest Cue.

A Hoppe style cue built on a cut down Hoppe house cue or two-piece cue fixed up is not a theft. Hoppe is dead and was not a cuemaker. Titlist cues still float around and are still souped up.
Sure a ton of makers rif off Szambotti designs.
Making a ripoff Gina doesn't solve the problem in cue copying.

and I say you are a retard. I am the one that sent you a message saying you were a dumb ass for trying to sell a cue for double its price...from racheleprice
and if you want to call bull-shit it was this cue
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21212&item=7206569188
you were trying to sell for 350!!!

this is what ER sent to me when I was trying to find out about a cue maker

I recognize the style and now remember the name. Patrick Pua is Vincent Patrick Pua or Vince Cues. He's a dealer that subs to cuemakers. Him and his partner Joel broke up and Joel partnered up with another financier and opened Miranda Cues. Joel and new partner pirated people from Linds Cues for their shop. Joel and Vince used to sub to Tony. They both are not cuemakers but dealers. Do a search here on Vince Cues

So now the question.......quality of the work after the test of time!!!
has been known to warp and everything else after time in the states!!!

Now this is a high amount of money to pay for a rip off design of a GinaCue

hi, im patrick pua not vincent patrick pua, im the maker of the pp cues, email me pat_pua@yahoo if you need to see the cues that i make, thanks

Bottom line is that you will not get a lot of respect from the people who know cues on this forum. Let me ask you another question. How are you transporting your cues? Do you have documentation proving that your ivory is pre-ban and legal? It won't take long for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to catch on.

not elephant ivory, otherwise it would be stopped immediately. calling it ivory, which most people equate as being elephant ivory, is like trying to pass off his southwest ripoff as a true southwest cue  .

imitatation ivory is often called "ivory" by these flakes...closest it may come to real ivory might be camel bone or maybe an old uncle's legbone ! :D

I bought several of these genuine ivory inlayed cues,,,only one out of 8 cues actually had bone ivory (NOT elephant ivory),,,the rest were fake; just plain old phenolic.....j :(

Why shouldn't SW built cues like Kersenbrock. It will be an insult to the Master to built it like a Szam, don't you think so?
