Modern Day Begging

Fancy cues you got there mate. leagues dues typically cost about 12-20$/week and you play in more than one? You work two jobs you say and also get free table time? 600$ is surely an insurmountable sum of money then...

What a joke... Im a college student as well, big deal. Your posts here and in the Mach forum embarrass me as one of your peers.

My buddy Raymond Linares is going to ACUI nationals again this year, so you better be spending alot time practicing and and not just AZ begging. You will have your hands full with Ray, he can really bring it.

And I like the PMs that I am getting. I guess its from years of teasing people, that I have a thicker skin and do enjoy getting a little back.

I am now officially known as Little Pig now.

If I can't be a Hog Rider, then Little Pig is ok too.

Hog, Little Pig, all the same.

He is POed at me because I didn't give him any free info that he was demanding. I will always go out of my way to help people to the extent of my ability. His attitude toward learning sucked large and put off many repairman and makers off from the start.

As far as the $8 dollar spool of nylon wrap is concerned. Trying to unload one for $20 was an El Cheapo move on your part.

You tried to justify the cost by saying that a 20 dollar spool is enuff to do 3 cues. Well, an 8 dollar one will do that many as well.

Remember seeing him shoot last year too - Kid's got stupid cue control.

come on now terry,
you know it was for "THE GREATER GOOD"

Yes Brent. In Romania, we don't learn a trade, we steal one.

His words, not ours.

The boy definitely has some Gypsy blood in him. How do we even know he is a student. Because he says he is.

We currentley have 10 tables at the union. They are not gold crown tho. I actually have no clue what they are but they have been there for at least 30 years if i am correct. I believe they are a brand called victory or century. They are decent although the school could have upgraded them considering how much tuition is. The club is doing good and the team is doing even better because our current president is a very good coach and player in general. But not a lot of college students like to play competitive, they mess around but not competitive.

I'm glad to hear that the club and team at IU that I helped start (along with some friends) is still going strong after 7 or 8 years. I used to work at the Back Alley too, and I'm glad that they upgraded the cloth for you guys. I'm in the middle of buying a house so I can't be as loose with my wallet as I normally might be for a fellow Hoosier and Pool Club/Team member, but I am in need of getting a new tip put on my OB-2 if you want to pm me a pricelist of your services. Also, do you guys still do the yearly challenge match with Purdue?

Hey what's up. Yes we still have the yearly challenge with Purdue. This years we are thinking of having something special since me and Brian are graduating. We want races to 100 9 ball. Top 4 people from Purdue vs top 4 from Iu race to 100 each and then add up the total racks won.

Like I said in the earliest posts , if you made a donation whatever the size the labour is free. All I would need is the shaft and whatever tip you want to put on. I stock Ultraskin so if you don't have a tip I can sell you one at costs (about 2.5$) and put it on for you. I have the entire range.

Let me know

Best regards

Here is a link to a thread in the Machinery Forum where he just stated that he purchased some cue supplies.

Close to the bottom.
FYI.

Sure hope that none of your guys money went to the proceeds.
Never the less, the cue supplies that he bought was Juma material and is fairly pricey.

If he can afford to be making this type of purchase, he certainly doesn't need your money, or does he?

Maybe he should get his priorities straight.
I turned him Red but someone turned him Green again. This is one scammer that needs to get Red bombed and stay Red.

Either way, I am getting a kick out of reading his weak attempts at flaming me thru PMs. He is a hypocrite, a professional bum/scam artist, and great for a laugh if nothing else.

The question about the juma was because I am close to completing my first cue. I am going to use that cue as a raffle to raise money for me and my guys to go to nationals. I did not know what but cap to put on so I asked a question.

Sunny billiards on eBay sells a full set for only 15$, but cap, joint and shaft.

Before you make quick assumptions and judge people take your time and read the entire post. My English might not be the best but your banter has no place here.

If you don't agree with my practices of the way I do things that is fine it's a free country and you are entitled to your opinion.

This is the cue that I asked help with moths ago and it's almost done and I have many people to thank for all their info and encouraging words. I would of loved to include you to blue hog on that list but sadly you chose another path.

Best regards

Yes, and if you hadn't put myself and others off by your statement that in Romania, you don't learn a trade, you steal one, I would have been more than willing to help out as well.

You figured that you didn't have to do any research yourself and that when you asked a question, everyone else should snap to attention and answer your questions.

Thats not the way it works. You do your own learning and if you run into a snag, then you ask. You expected people to hold your hand and walk you thru the difficult parts.

Doesn't matter as to how much material that you purchased at what cost.
It doesn't look good that you have money to build a cue at whatever cost, yet you are soliciting money to pay for a pool trip.

But, you expected people to hold you hand while you built a cue and also to do the same to send you to a tournament.

How come no more s hitty PMs. I was getting to enjoy them.

College kid asks questions on how to do things related to a sport he loves and tries to raise money for a trip to the ACUI nationals. Clearly he is history's greatest monster.

Obviously you weren't involved in the threads in the Mach Forum so you have no idea went went on, yet you are still entitled to an opinion.

Good for you. Hope you sent him some money. Did you?
And if not, why not.

Excuse you...... 100$ worth of tips. I did not know that 5 tips were worth 100$ the most expensive tip you sent me was a KAMUI medium. The rest were under 10$ if even. Wow talking about Indian giving. You want them back? I will send them to you. Scam artist jees no wonder so many people told me to stay away from az. So you think 20$ for a spool of nylon wrap is a lot? Maybe it is but after the shipping and everything I am left with what 3$ profit. For a spool that can make 30 cues? Wow. Did I not to the review like a promised? And by the way for your info half of those tips I installed for free for beginners here in town. Wow . I am just about done with Az. I am blessed with a loving and supporting family and friends so yea. If you are not going to give me your address to send the tips back I will throw them in the trash.

Please reconsider leaving. How would we get along without strangers asking us to give them money?

I went back and read nearly all of his previous posts and found nothing alarming. He plays for the same Indiana University Pool Team and Billiards Club that I helped start, and I know people that know him. I'm going to pay him accordingly for having a shaft retipped. As an alumni I'd like to make a bigger donation to the club and team, but I'm doing what I can afford to at this time.

You obviously didn't read far enuff back then. You would have to do a search for his name and go that route.

Either way, no big deal. You like him, thats ok.

Myself and others think he is a scammer and a bum.

Just a slight difference in opinion.

Blue hog you are just a island man. There is no one else there with you and the tides are turning. It mist be lonely there but maybe a volley ball washes ashore and you can become best friends with "mister Wilson".

Sarcasm: Obviously straightpoolIU your education you got at iu served you no good since in blue hogs eyes you don't know how to read. Lol.

I looked over the instructions on how to put a tip on a ob more in detail because their ferrules are constructed from laminate wood and they are actually using real carbon fiber pads. Now I don't know what condition the pad is in because in time it will get worn out from tip replacements and it does have to be replaced but we will see when I get the shaft.

I will stop by to see you maybe Sunday afternoon. Pm me your number or give me a buzz at the number I sent you.
