Mosconi Conspiracy Theorist Idea

Roll Out

The Americans said that the practice table's speed was much slower than the TV table's. The European's lagged much better and secured the opening break much more often. Were the USA and European practice tables different? Was the Euro's practice table closer to the true speed (stretched tighter, etc.) of the TV table? Or was the TV table faster than both practice tables due to the main table's dryer conditions under the lights, etc?
Just wondering...

I've heard that the TV table was stored on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository while the practice table was kept out on the Grassy Knoll. Isn't it strange you didn't see Castro the entire Mosconi Cup? Something suspicious going on here.

Clearly this is the work of the Pentavirate...

it's a well known fact, Sonny Jim, that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows.

So who's in this Pentavirate?

The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee *beady* eyes, and that smug look on his face. "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"

True. Not many people know this.

You left out the CEO of the Pentavirate: Elvis runs the show.

I'm pretty sure that Matchroom would have loved to see USA win in a close battle this year. It would make their package more valuable and open up broadcasting options in the USA.

Here's a theory....

While we are talking conspiracies. I believe that Britain allows Sportsbooks, so I'm wondering what the line was? Europe minus 5 ? Or what was the line that the U.S. wouldn't win a single match on day four? Informed responses only please..;)

Oh for the love of sweet Jesus ... I may have to give the forum a break until the stupidity of the mosconi cup winers dies off

... I believe that Britain allows Sportsbooks, ...
Not only are sports books allowed, but you can bet on each individual performance and on specific final scores. At snooker, in each frame you can bet on which color will be potted first.

The odds I saw before the start of play was Europe odds on at 1/2 -- bet a dollar to win 50 cents. I think the US was bet 4 to win 7. There are lots of sites for betting and the odds are different among them and constantly changing.

Clearly the Devil was involved on the highest level. There's no way the American's lose this unless some higher supernatural evil force is at work.
..... yeah..... that must be it

I think Matchroom tried to help out the US this year:

1) the US coach was named in January, giving them all a year to prepare for the battle. The eight team candidates were named in March, so candidates had nine months to prepare.

2) the break rule that Shane in particular, said (I believe in an ABR interview) " gave the US no shot" was dropped in favor of allowing a break anywhere in the kitchen and without the requirement of having three balls pass the head-string.

3) the switch from races to six in 2013 to races to five in 2014 always favors the underdog, and, on average, figured to help Team USA

Maybe next year, Matchroom will encourage us to bring our best players. That would help.
