That last match was UGLY. Sad to see its over. Johnny was MVP in my mind. He kept us alive all week.

Earl jumped on the table in Cardiff the year he won it all.
 
Hats off to USA for showing a lot of heart but if they don't send their best match competitors it's never going to be easy.

I thought it was entertaining. Better than boring pool. I honestly find myself falling asleep at most pool matches and I love pool. I was fully awake sweating this one.

People talk about wanting to see pool get big, well here you have a packed house and pressure and the best players in the world battling it out. Would be great to see this done with $500,000 on the line.

I agree. If pool was ever going to become big this would be the way to do it, to bring fans in by letting them root for their country or team.

American fans need to compose some songs. The song "Walking in a Melling Wonderland" should get very high on the charts. Next year the Mosconi Cup is ours, just as long as we write the songs.

Congrats to Europe on winning a very competitive match. Like CJ said, enjoy it .... but only for a year.

I definitely agreed with the choice of Melling for MVP. That guy was amazing.
 
CJ finally took his jacket off. :D

The Europeans played great and came with it when they needed it, congrats to a fantastic team of guys!!

Overall I think day 3 really killed us. The entire team was kinda shaky that day and it really took it's toll. I had a great time sweating the action, they certainly made it interesting!!!

Enjoyed chatting it up with all of you as well here on AZ!!

There's no way he doesn't get mvp... Where other guys were dogging it, he did exactly what he was supposed to and was there being a team captain just as much as CJ. Handled everything with grace and good spirit.
 
Why the not give jh MVP? It s realy shomtihing. I am europian fan put Jhonny was for sure the best player in mosconi cup!!! Sory if a am not so good whit engles!!!
