*** Mosconi Cup 2015 Updates Thread ***

Someone please post a story where someone put their foot in Boyes arse. There has to be one with his attitude.

If it's any consolation, I am pretty sure I saw him thumb a booger and sneak it into his mouth during the doubles match. LOL!

Ken also screwed up in the beginning by telling Sky he lost the lag because he shot after Boyes' lag hit the end rail, but then letting them lag again. Either it's an illegal lag or not.

Where is it illegal to use the cueball to measure if you can place it anywhere on the playing surface during BIH?

When did this happen?

I know about object balls, but the cueball?

3.42 DEVICES
Players are not allowed to use a ball, the triangle or any other width-measuring device to see if the cue ball or an object ball would travel through a gap, etc. Only the cue stick may be used as an aid to judge gaps or as an aid to aligning a shot., so long as the cue is held by the hand. To do so otherwise is a foul and unsportsmanlike conduct. (Also see Rules 1.3, 1.4 and 2.15)

Not that I agree with this wording. I'd like to see the wording changed to explicitly allow the use of the cueball in hand to judge a gap that it (the cueball) would need to pass. As it's written, it explicitly disallows the use of a cue ball to measure gaps, by the two boldfaced phrases.

Hall is 10th American on the money list this year, and I think Rodney's language and antics during previous MC's may have gotten him permanently excluded...

the money list doesn't tell the story of who the best is in a situation like the Mosconi cup. If you watched Justin last year he clearly shines in this type of an event.

Aloha

Way to stay professional Skyler Woodward, this young man has got skills, even with Boyes throwing a tantrum.

But Ken also told ,Karl that it's in best sportsmanship to relag at this event which Karl agreed too. Please pay attention. And it was an illegal lag.

If it was an illegal lag under Mosconi Cup rules then Ken shouldn't have said "but that's OK just lag again."

Is this the toughest table you have ever seen? Normally these guys run racks and they're have difficulty even getting shape which should be run of the mill for these guys.
