Mosconi cup 2017 Last AS VEGAS who’s going?

AT Griffs after Mosconi Cup.....

Griffs has some great events scheduled:

Monday: 7:30 signup, 8 pm start
Scotch Doubles chip tournament-7' tables.
LOTS of fun. 9-ball. $50 per team

Tuesday 7:30 signup, 8 pm start
Banks ring game - pay by the rail
9' tables. $150 entry

Wednesday, 7:30 signup, 8 pm start
Scotch Doubles 10 ball chip tournament
9' tables. $50 entry

So....what is the verdict? Are we going to have a AZ get together? Sunday or Monday night?

Sunday may not be the best night. Not sure about everyone but I bet quite a few of us will be getting in on Sunday night, maybe late. Monday is the BCA Hall of Fame Banquet and even though I have a feeling that I was not inducted AGAIN this year:angry: there might be a few of the AZ community who would rather go have dinner with Jeanette Lee then hang out with us at a pool hall.

In 2013 a sorta impromptu get together was thrown together by infamous forum member Pink Lady and a handful of us met in the lobby of the casino where the games were being held that year. That worked fairly well and the group was able to put faces to names and we hung out together off and on for the rest of the week.

Monday may be the best night and Griffs may be a good spot to find each other. After the match it is a good time to grab some grub and then head to Griff's. We could then walk around and awkwardly bust out our AZ names and see if anyone fist bumps us.

Have I ever mentioned how much you resemble Dean Martin?

The doubles events are bring your own partner BUT we can promote teams on the spot. Show up and we’ll try to find a partner. Chip tournaments are fast and fun
 
Bucket list

I've had my tickets since first day they went on sale. Traveling with a buddy who I've been friends with for 30 years. A bucket list trip for both of us. Neither one of us know what to expect but can't wait for it to happen. Go USA.

This year is your year. I feel it. You'll be inducted. :)

By the way..., I am really Jealous. I wanted to go so badly. I love watching the Mosconi Cup and I have stayed at Mandalay Several times. Hope everyone has a great time.

Probably ESPN3 like the last few but Matchroom always waits til last minute to announce it.

But watch out......I think you can get a one day ban for bringing up that first day tickets went on sale! Lol

I'm heading that way today. I'm pretty jazzed about the USA's chances this year, but I've felt that way before and watched them crumble in front of my eyes. I'd love to see a close contest at least. :wink:
