So the object ball to receive left spin and turn left more easily!
Game 9
Wolford breaks and makes the 1 in the side. He has only a bank on the 2. He eyes it up carefully and calls for the extension. He plays the cross-corner bank to perfection but nearly scratches in the top corner, but the 3 sits easy over the side. He has a tricky cut on the 4 from close-quarters and nails it. He should be out from here, but OH NO he misses the easy 5 ball with an overcut!
Alcaide has a tough cut on the 5, which sits on the bottom end rail. He gets down and elects to play safe, and leaves a good shot!
Wolford makes the 5 but nearly scratches is the corner then runs into the 6. Super tough long rail cut from an inch away. He misses but gets a great roll, hooking the CB behind the 8.
Alcaide has a long kick on the 6. He misses and also gets lucky to hook the 6 behind the 7, ugh.
Now Wolford has a really tough long kick, and he executes a slow-roller to perfection, just nudging the 6 closer to the 7.
Alcaide plays safe harder than expected, and leaves a long thin cut on the 6. It's makeable.
Wolford makes it but it scratches back in the botton corner. This match and Cup is probably over.
Alcaide takes BIH, and makes the 7, 8, and 9. It's over folks.
Score 5-4 Alcaide, and Score 11-3 Europe.

what do you mean? you either go top slight left for the end rail bounce or slow with right for the side rail kill

Jayson very gracious towards the US crowd and players in the post-tournament interview. He looked at Wolford and said "I want to say congrats to Shane Wolford, I think Shane was probably their best player, you did yourself proud this week and you should be happy."
Overall a disappointing MC. Not much of a match. Hopefully the U.S. players will take to heart the advice offered by Barry Hearn yesterday.
