Thank you to Matchroom for not giving us Shaw vs SVB in singles for the 12th time. LOL
Presume that isnt matchroom. Captains will choose the players without knowing opponents. But I guess Europe knew USA would put out big guns in singles today and may have guessed at Svb first up
We’ll have to disagree here. Matchroom calls a lot of the shots here (pun intended).
He flipped off the corner pocket when he potted a ball in it, after previously rattling that jump 9b combo in the same hole, I believe in the same game. He didn’t point the finger into the stands, he pointed it down at that hole. If it was even the middle finger, I think it was his pinky.
It’s just hard for me to wrap my brain around where someone was born to be that important. I can’t remember where I was born, it has zero to do with who I am or what I’m about. I have better things to do than look at a map and make some judgment about someone .We need an organization and/or event called Pool Without Borders

With regards to flipping the little finger, the gesture is still suggestive and is inappropriate and unprofessional and does not make the USA team look good in front of thousands of viewers from all over the world.
Don't go to a pool hall, you wouldn't believe some of the gestures in those places.

Naaa it was his middle finger.. and I assumed it was the pocket and it still needs to be handled in a conversation from match room.
This isn’t your local pool hall.. a bunch of guys playing for fun. This is professionals with matchroom investing a shit ton of money trying to build the game into a professional sport that people with more money want to invest and advertise with. It might be a fun special event but it has the most eyes of any tournament played all year so you want to present the right image. I’m not saying billy Should be suspended or anything crazy.. just a conversation about image and what they are trying to build and to refrain from doing things like that is all that’s needed.Don't go to a pool hall, you wouldn't believe some of the gestures in those places.

I find it fun. Like a bunch of guys playing a ring game and having fun, while also being incredible players. It's entertaining.

I like the professional atmosphere of the 9 ball open or world championships. I don't want to see this type of thing at all events. A special event once or twice a year with some spice/ attitude is good for the game in my opinion.
