Exactly, just like Shaw shooting the 8 straight in to the rail. That's something I definitely would have and have done. It's funny... I watch the Mosconi and see a miss or a bad shot I and usually say "He shot it like I would"

What could the "recent elections" possibly have to do with anyone's behavior at the MC????I hate this so much. When talking and hearing takes so much effort. And does it really add to the party feeling when the audio is 2-3 notches too loud?
Judging from Europe it feels like the recent elections have empowered the boisterous and obnoxious types. And these types don't really like Europe so they go extra hard.
I may be wrong
dawizard is not wrong,What could the "recent elections" possibly have to do with anyone's behavior at the MC????
Agreed that Sky made a blunder too getting on the wrong side of the 7...I thought Fedor would've been able to swing 3 rails for *shaky* position on the 8 (not sure if he intended to run into it).Gorst didnt blow it, Sky did by ending up on the wrong side of the 7. He seemed to take the shot for granted without really looking where he needed to be.
If you have to ask...What could the "recent elections" possibly have to do with anyone's behavior at the MC????
It falls on the refs. In the past Marcel or whomever would tell the crowd to calm it down when the players were down on the shot. Haven't seen that this year.
Maybe they were told to let it go.
Could be crazy next year!
Thanks for the video yesterday! Watching the whole day was very enjoyable.
Do you seriously think matchroom would kick spectators? I kind of doubt it.they have been way too passive. marcel told them off yesterday but overall it's too lenient. it's kind of a war zone for the refs though, not an easy task compared to US open or the sparsely populated UK open
I forget who exactly on Team USA butchered the shot, (I "think" it was Sky in this match..) but if they couldn't lag behind the 6 off that 1 ball and leave Europe completely and utterly frozen behind the 6, I have absolutely no confidence in Team USA to execute even the simplest safes, let alone getting safe behind the 9 on a shot like this. And if they sail the 9 ball bank long while drawing firmly enough to get behind the 9, that 8 is coming two rails back up table.if you could get cb safe behind the 9b, the cross corner isn't a bad option
This is exactly what one of the commentators said. It might have been Frost. Sky shot immediately. Bad roll or whatever, Sky ended up on the wrong side of the seven ball and Gorst was put in a very tough spot.Gorst didnt blow it, Sky did by ending up on the wrong side of the 7. He seemed to take the shot for granted without really looking where he needed to be.
I guess my area of the country is different, seems like when people engage in common activities for entertainment its not that politics don't exist but they are definitely not at the forefront when compared to normal everyday activities. If you have to ask...
Yes, you are wrong. The recent elections have nothing to do with boisterous sports fans.I hate this so much. When talking and hearing takes so much effort. And does it really add to the party feeling when the audio is 2-3 notches too loud?

The European fans aren't exactly quiet as church mice when it's played across the pond.
I expect chucking a beer can on the field will still get you ejected. Right? Those Snooker refs are pretty strick. It falls on the refs. In the past Marcel or whomever would tell the crowd to calm it down when the players were down on the shot. Haven't seen that this year.

Ask and Ye shall receive. One thing I haven’t seen here and Sky brought it up to the ref. The racking of the two ball. Europe was getting a shot on it after the break and the USA wasn’t. Sky said something to the ref and the reply was it was random racking. If someone has access to watch that last race and see where the two was being racked for both teams it would certainly be interesting
