Jerry has always been my favorite commentator. He knows the players well, which adds a little color, and his knowledge -- no -- wisdom of all pocket billiard games is phenomenal.

Anybody who doesn't like Jerry Forsyth in the booth does not love pool. Jerry and the late Sid Waddell in the booth was like poetry.
 
Losing lags, breaking dry (or wet breaks with poor opening shots), poor safety play. They had their chances that match. That fluke hurt, but they had their chances. Cmon Rodney give us a spark.
 
They need to win the next 4 to make it 5-5 or that's all folks.

At least make it 6-4. Anything better than the embarrassing 1 point out of 6 sets.
 
match 6 was yet another stinker, and nearly all the fault lies with Woodward.

Missed seven ball in rack 3
Poor safety in rack 4
Poor safety in Rack 5
Missed two ball in rack 7

On the bright side, rack 2 and Rack 6 were SVB breaks and they broke and ran both of them. Good sign for sure.
 
I just watched the end of the last match. I haven't been following this at all. Shane really doesn't seem into it at all. I know that look. It's the same look you have on your face when you're stuck in a meeting you don't want to be in. Hope everything's OK with him.

There's been some ridiculous stuff said on AZB, this very well may take the cake. And here I thought I loved pool but come to find out since I don't care for Forsyth in the booth that's not the case. Too bad. Better find a new hobby I guess.

Anything else I need to discontinue my fondness of?

Well, anyone who doesn't like Jerry Forsyth takes the cake, IMO.

He's one of the best commentators on the planet, bar none.
