Mosconi cup question

Why is it continent vs country? Why not North America vs Europe it would be more competitive with players like morra and Alex also on the team what do you guys think?

Good question, which has been raised before.
The size of Europe is massive in comparison to America so the inclusion of Canada should mean the geographic to more evenly portion-ate.
For marketing purpose MC labelled N America Vs Europe shouldn't really make to much difference... : thumbup:

Morra or Pagulayan isn't going to make any difference.

No offense because you probably haven't seen this, but every month or two someone posts this "new idea." 1. It would be a huge acknowledgement of defeat by the US, 2. The US has enough good players that it probably wouldn't help that much, 3. Matchroom has been asked about this and has said they won't do it.
 
Might be better if Canada and Mexico can bring some killer chants. After going to Vegas in 2013 and last year I have to say we lose due to lousy chanting skills. How bout the members on this forum from these two countries attach a repeated rhythmic phrase and the USA folks can decide if we need help.:p

I would LOVE this. Although it is for very selfish reasons. I'm from Canada and even though we don't play in it, the Mosconi cup is VERY exciting to watch. You can't help but get drawn into the drama. Every set matters and the atmosphere is more like a sporting event than a pool match

It's clearly time to make Canada a de facto state or two. Maybe three states -- "Columbia" -- through Saskawhatever, Ontario (slightly enlarged), and "Frenchies" including everything from Québec eastward -- sorry, Newfies, you're speaking French now. I'm sure President Trump will be able to handle the annexation -- easier than building a northern wall as well as a southern. He'll threaten maple syrple tariffs.

But seriously, I agree that the Mosconi Cup is an excellent event, and Alex would be an interesting addition. I'm afraid there is only one path to his participation.
 
Well I never claimed it to be a bright idea of mine just something I have wondered which is why asked to find out why it doesn't have it ,

also did someone really say that they wouldn't want that because what chant we would use.

We don't have to chant North America we could just change America or 'merica if that's better ,.

I would say we do need the help considering we get owned and there is no need for anyone to admit it because it's obvious .
.. Idk just a thought

I'm not King Solomon but might I suggest that Canada be allowed to play with the Europeans so they can get in on the action? Mexico and South America? Just build that damn wall.
