Well as some of you may know I am getting married on December 5th at the Tropicana before the Mosconi Cup Starts. Not a big wedding 35-40 people attending with a short but sweet wedding. Yeah, my honeymoon will be in Vegas for the Mosconi Cup. A friend told me I must be a crazy pool nut to organize a wedding around a Pool Tourney. Well maybe I am. What do you guys think?

Your not crazy, just obsessed with the game and that's okay. I am too.

I don't have many friends here in Phoenix, I kinda keep to myself. My friends are scattered all over the country/world but I knew that some of my friends would be in Vegas for MC anyway so I guess its not all about pool but really looking forward to it.

Congratulations, Mark! If your fiance is good with it, that is all that matters.

Yeah I get the feeling that if she wasn't cool with it, youd be doing it somewhere else
The bigger question is, did you invite The King

Pretty cool stuff.

There have been more than a few weddings during Vegas pool events over the years including one about fifteen years ago in which the groom (Art Wiggins) and his best man (Johnny Archer) were in the BCA Championships pro field at the Riviera. I remember sitting next to Earl Strickland in the chapel. After a fifteen minute wedding service followed by a fifteen minute reception consisting of open bar by the poolside at about 10:00 AM, both Earl and Johnny went to their respective matches in the tournament room.

Good luck to you and your new wife.

I can hardly believe it. Surely nobody is crazy enough not to believe that this is not a great idea. Mark you are a good friend and I do appreciate your invitation. Sadly I will not be able to come but I wish you and Jessica megalithic happiness.

Thanks Doug, shame you won't make it. I understand though. I got a little UK representation though so I won't be the only one talking funny :)
