Mosconi Team Predictions for 2014

I wouldn't go that far. In a long set, maybe. Winner break, maybe. This is alternate break 9 ball, race to 5. It's a crap shoot. Don't get me wrong, i agree Euro's on paper are stronger but these younger guys, would surprise you more that you think. Plus get them some salt for next year. Next year 2015 is what we should be focused on. Black pool is going to be INSANE tough to win in. Rebuild, and see what you got to work with.

BTW, Behnke is Shane's old road partner. He can play, believe that.

Yeah, Bart isn't a tourney beast, but he is a beast playing TEAM pool, whether it's playing scotch or team tourneys. Team Pool is what matters at the MC, sign him up.

Lol...your right the 18 years I've been around pool players has left me clueless. ..How do you think a collegiate QB would fair in the superbowl...sure they might beat the Raiders but this is the Seahawks of pool there playing. .Good luck

I believe in Brent Bortals. Tebow gave'em a hell of a run... PUKE.

I here ya scotty, I was just ribbing you on your name is all. I really do think these guys would show up and play. Composure kept, these "kids" have a shot.

I'd also switch in Oscar, Shuff, and a couple others if need be. There's enough talent here. Just gotta be able to fade the bright lights. I think these younger guys can do just that!

I hear ya..I honestly think if there going with new blood and leaving the old dogs on the porch there are a few better players then those 3
Jhall, Bergman, Oscar, Shuff, Bartrum, Chip, Joey..dechaine is a great player but he is such a d $#@ it would bring down the team atmosphere.

I put Bergman and Bartrum in there.

I put in Behnke, because when he plays with/around Shane it's seems to bring out a gear in him that is VERY high. I've seen them practice together quite a bit, and Shane doesn't seem to like giving much up when they play...

I put Woodward in there, because he will more than likely be there next year. Get the salt on him now to see if he'll have it for next year. If he folds like an arm chair you know not to throw him to the wolves next year, when we will have a real shot at winning.

I still think you have a slight underestimate of what the above two can do. That being said the handful of guys you listed could all shuffle in and be good. Team chemistry should be a factor though. I want guys that are TEAM players.

Matchroom should get their shit together and just let me pick Team #2 and have a team gambling match right after the MC. I'll take SVB, Bart, Oscar, Shuff and Corey. On a sick tight table..... Good luck getting that money.

I've never seen him play but I had no idea he was on that level.

I don't want to divulge too much, as it's not my place to say. I've seen him play crazy good, and he breaks like Shane, so that's why I like him for the team.

But there are only 4 spots open
So no matter what some guys who should make it won't
It would be nice to see a team who wants to win for each other

This pretty much sums it up perfectly. From what I understand, there will be some guys on here that most people aren't expecting. Either way, it should be fun to see who makes it!!!

Well said...you need guys who play good but also like pulling for each other and that's a hard combination to find.
