Mosconi Updates Please

I will respectfully disagree. I believe the background games have little to do with what's been happening on the tables this week. The boys in red white and blue are just getting outplayed.

I guess the Pinoys are playing UK8ball and snooker too???

Hotbeds are what breed great players... There are no hotbeds of pool in the US... The euros seem to take their hotbed with them....

If you were a US player and young where would you go to be around the quality and quantity of players that they are constantly hanging around with, learning from and matching up with... I see no end to Asia and Europe continuing to produce world class talent... To me it's more about culture...

Here they come 8-2. If they some how could win the next couple of matches, pressure would start to affect the Euro players. It's a long shot I know.

I go to Asia a lot for work including China and boy when you see one of their snooker/pool halls it's quite a sight and the number of youngsters playing is amazing

This is no pressure for SVB, he gets paid whether he wins or loses. Its an exhibition. And the worse part is it is a team event. Team pool is different. SVB is not on his usual island drilling everyone.

Hopefully he is getting some vacation time. We need young players next year. Shuff, Dechaine, Doool, SVB, and the young kid who smashed earls nuts in at the bigfoot challenge. Earl as coach. In a few years that team would do fine against Europe or anyone else.

The young kid is Landon Shuffett and he is going to school with plans on becoming a doctor... He at most will play 1-2 big events a year from here on out.... He will not be pursuing professional pool as a career choice...

That's the best "pool-related" news I've heard in a while.

Update...

Well done on that last match for team USA. What a comeback!!!. Hopefully they close the gap tomorrow.
