Mosconi updates

Neil's break dry.

Neil's comes up dry on the break. Rodney plays a perfect safety with a break out on a locked up two ball. NEil's plays an unbelievable lockup kick safe and Rodney hits it and almost turns it inot a kick safe himself.

NEils doens;t hit it as well as he should and gets an almost safe.. Rodney just free hits it and almost scratches.
Neils tries to safty and fails. Rodney is getting too comfortable in his lead and misses a straight shot on the one.

Neil's hooks his two on the three and has to play a carom and gives himself a moderately difficult shot on the two. He decides to play a lockup safe instead, and Rodney misses it hitting it really carelessly. Neils gets the runout and puts something up on the board. 1-5
 
If Neils didn't screw up so royally.

Neils was playing like a B player not a pro. I guess it was a good choice though.

First match is a doubles between souquet and peach versus eark the pearl and Shane.

Hopefully Earl will be hitting them a little better today. Should be interesting to see how he and Shane interact as partners.

Shane probably said to Earl "Don't worry about shape - just make your ball!" Just playin' I think they will be good partners. Shane plays great shape and shouldn't leave any really long shots for Earl.
 
Shane plays safe

To start out the game Shane plays an amazing two rail safe leaving the CB right in the jaws of the far corner. Souquet makes a perfect jump on the two with shape on the three four combo. Daryl doesn't get good shape on the three after the shot on the four. Ralph makes a good cut on the three but leaves nothing for Daryl. They play safe and Earl hits thesix but misses the shot. Ralph makes a difficult cut for the six and knocks the seven free with shape. They get the run out and Europe takes the first rack. 1-0.

NExt rack

USA gets a good break and should've had the runout. Earl misses a long shot on the four and leaves a four six combo. Euope makes the four six but the eight blocks the main pocket for the four. . Daryl shoots a great cut into the far corner on the four and Europe runs out tomake it 2-0.
