game 6.

Rodney breaks and makes a ball on the break and it is a legal break. He rattles the three and gets a lucky safe.
Drago kicks the ball and leaves a long shot for Rodney. Rodney plays a great shot with shape and gets the shot on the five, He draws off of the five perfectly. Rodney asks fo rthe object to be cleaned so that wehat happened to drago on the nine in the last rack doesn't happen again. THe replay on the nine did show that it skidded to throw off.

Rodney manages to run it out from the three to make it hill to one.
 
Game 7.

Drago comes up dry on the break butleaves the one and the cue a couple of inches from each other by the right head pocket. Rodney plays safe and dargo leaves him an open shot on the one. The six is behind the seven along the long rail and is the only potential trouble ball in the rack.

Rodney is stuck playing the six seven combo and he misses the combo leaving a six nine combo for drago. Drago makes the six nine combo to make it 2-5.

Game 8.

Rodney fails to pocket a ball on the break and Dargo comes to the table.

Dargo tries to play a complicated safe and it doesn't work for him.

Rodney returns the favor trying to play another complicated safe and fails also.

Drago tries to play safe and leaves an open shot on the one for Rodney.

The rocket doesn't have an open shot on the two and plays a good safe. Dargo manages to hit the two and leaves a diffilcult cut on the two for Rodney.

Rodney misses the cut and leaves a hard shot for Drago.

Drago plays perfect shape with an excellent shot on the two and manages to runout to bring it to 3-5.
 
You can see Drago's talent, but his quick pace seems to hurt him. His safety play is less than it could be because of it.
 
Game 9.

Drago makes a good break and has a difficult cut on the one. Drago cuts in the one and gets good shapoe on the two but a little difficult shape on the three. He makes the three and four. Drago manages to runout and brings it to within one game at 4-5.
 
Game 10.

Rodney breaks and manges to scratch giving the on fire Drago BIH.

The rack is an easy runout with no difficult shots.

He manages to runout to tie the match after being at a 5-1 deficit. it is now hill hill at 5-5.
 
Final game of the match.

Drago breaks and makes a ball. Drago has a chance at the runout. This is the comeback of the century, J.K. but it is an awesome comeback being down on 5-1 not being able to give up a single game. He does it and takes the match.

yeah, when he got down 5-1 after missing that 9, he looked like he was going to cry. I mean I actually felt bad for him. I was worried he might go and jump off the Stratosphere, but he played like a damn freight train those last 4 games. He barely lets the cue ball stop rolling! I like his style.
 
Ah, could you imagine walking down the ailse after an introduction to "Living in America"... :) Would be such a rush...
 
Corey and johnny should clean up here.

Stepanov breaking after winning the lag. They get three balls on the break so it is a legal break even though no balls pass the headstring.

Even with six balls in the table it is not an open table. Neils plays safe and Corey comes to the table.

Corey kicks the three into the eight and combos in the eight but unfortunately he gets the safety he was trying for. Johnny breaks out the jump cue and misses the shot but leaves it safe.

Stepanov comes to the table and has to kick at the three. He could see the three form the other side and caroms the seven off the three barely moving the three. The five is hidden by the nine and they play the five nine carom. They make the shot to take the lead 1-0.
 
Game 2.

Archer breaks in game 2. Legal break with difficult shot on the three for corey. Corey plays a two way shot with a bank on the three and shape on the four leaving the three tough if he misses it. He missed it and left it tough for Stepanov.

Stepanov misses the shot rushing the shot after the shot clockstarts beeping.

Johnny makes the three leaving Corey a shot on the four. It was a tough cut into the side and Corey misses the four.

Neils steps to the table and leaves perfect shape on the five for Stepanov. Neils is looking at the seven to make sure it goes past the eight and leaves the ball perfect on the seven. I don't know if it passes the eight and Stepanov will have to play the seven eight combo and try to control the way the seven rolls. They control it well and leave a little angle on the seven to take the CB back up table for the nine. They leave a long shot on the nine for Stepanov. He makes the shot to take their lead to 2-0.

So much fo rthem cleaning up.
 
Game 3.

Neils breaks and makes the one in the side. Stepanov doesn't have a good shot on the two and plays safe.

Johnny comes to the table and it looks like he might be able to jump the eight to get the two. JOhnny doens't make the shot but does hide neils back behind the eight.

NEils turns the table and jumps safe back to Corey.

Corey almost kicks the two into the side but no ball hits a rail and Stepanov gets BIH.

The rack is open and europe seems to be in good form. Stepanovhits the eight good and the Euros take the lead to 3-0.
 
Game 4,

I came in a little late but USA doesn't look happy. Europe's at the table playing perfectly.This isn't the same Stepanov from yesterdayand Europe takes it up 4-0.

Damnnn !!!!! This is killing us. I didn't want for it to be a shutout for the USA but this is getting ridiculous.
 
game 5.

Stepanov almost gets the nine on the break. Neils leaves a perfect safe on the two behind the six. Third game in a row that USA has given BIH to the Euro team. Stepanov shoots the two nine combo and takes it to the hill hill to nill.

I don't know if I can watch this anymore.
 
I think I can hear Corey Duel and Johnny Archer crying from here, because they are getting SPANKED. And they shouldn't be because Duel and Archer obviously have better professional sport last names than their opponents.
