Most balls made in a 9-ball break

anybody know

When I was first starting to play pool, someone told me a story about
"little" David Howard making all nine on the break. Anybody know if this is true?

This is easy....Place..Amsterdam Billiards, Event..Tristate tour, opponent..Sal (one of my best friends), result...6 on the break, and left a PREFECT 3/9 combo for the win. Even I can win from there!!! Game over in two shots.

What a way to revive an old thread eh?

I was playing a guy last night at Zingale's. He made 7 balls in on the break, including the 9 ball. The only remaining balls on the table were the 3 and the 7. This was on a nine foot, simonis, no shims. Most amazingly lucky break I've seen in the 11 years I've been playing. Will probably never see it again in my lifetime. Had to give him props for it on Facebook- even promoted the post!

Mike Massey

He visited awhile back, and of course this conversation came up, Mike has made 8 balls on the break in 9 ball, I'm pretty sure he had an easy shot, but, Tarzan, I can believe that. Rather that happen to me....than an 11 pack like Mannino had happen to him in Dallas on 4-96.

Eight years ago I made 8 on the break on a 9' table. The 9 was the only ball that didn't drop, and the cb stopped almost straight in on it.

I've never made more than 4 on the break, but i've had 5 made on me in tournaments a number of times.
