Most Under Rated Cue Maker

Forgot-

Myron Nakmura- Hawaii. I play with Ricky Phillippi(extended length ,Danny Janes customs (n-17,A-4 , A Gilbert from the 07 show. and 3 Martinez cues. Ebony , Birdseye and a 4 pt hustler - with a extra 20 shafts or so. And an unknown Filipino Ivory Player- ER mark

I have 2

I would say that Mike Durbin makes a great cue and I will put my Filipino made NicDao up against any cue.

Mike Webb
Jerry Rauenzahn

I thought Mike Webb was pretty established otherwise he would have been on my list as well. Great cue maker and a great guy as well. Highly recommend people check out his work.

He is but he does get overlooked quite a bit. His workmanship and playability are second to none IMO.

With all of these great cuemakers - where is all the contact information? web sites? emails? samples pictures??

btw, whoever post Bill Web - THANK YOU!! he's got FIVE variations of a cue i've been drawing up in my computer the last month. lol I sent him an email. (see, website links are good)

well in my opinion id say it would have to be either leon sly or rick phillippi. i lived in maryland for a while and found these guys. both arereally friendly great guys to do some business with and both make some of the greatest hitting cues ive ever put in my hand. just simply remarkable craftmanship from both cue makers, and for the price these guys charged me for my cues, i dont think youll find a cue better. both makers took my order and started working on the cues immediately and told me to pay them whenever i could that there was no rush. thats what makes a great cuemaker and craftsman.

How about Arnot Q's. I believe Mr Wadsworth makes a fine cue. I would dearly love to have one. Probably will get one next year after I get a Barton case.

I have read most of the posts here and most of these gentleman are rather well known at least on this site. I will throw out John Bender. John makes a great playing cue, I have one for sale now as he is building me another.

Kenny Murrell gets my vote. Great cues with fantastic designs plus customer service is the best I have ever experienced

Roy

I could probably name a few more, but I think Carolina Customs and Mike Stacy make a great cue for the money and play both play nice.

What cuemaker do you feel is flying under the radar? As far as quality, fit, finish, point work, price, etc. Which cuemaker gives you the best bang for your buck so to speak. Lets see what people come up with. Thanks for your input.

I would like to add my agreement with Mark's post, as well as with knifemaker's and kyo1128's praise of Paul Sumrall's cues. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Doug Patrick. Besides being a nice guy to deal with, he makes absolutely beautiful, great hitting cues at fair prices. I have a total of seven cues from these three men, and love every one of them (uh...the cues, that is. I love the cues.).

I have never been disappointed by any of the cues I have bought from many of the makers who post on AZB. This has got to be the best place in the world for buying cues.

+1 on both Paul and Doug. I owned a Doug Patrick cue and it was well made and I got compliments wherever I took it. I currently own a cue made by Paul and it is also well made. I received compliments on it as well. They both are great guys to deal with.

I'd definitely have to say CURTIS ROBERTSON. Best bang for your buck. The cues hit solid and extremely comfortable. Another maker would be KENNETH MURRELL, which is another bang for your buck, with a great hit. I love the unknown makers for the simple fact that I can actually afford a great custom cue.
