Is the one of the IPT broadcasts, or perhaps the Women on ESPN??

hmmm, it just may be this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnHsqtWiDOU

With over 115,000 views on Youtube plus many thousands more on other online video sites.

It's also on the top page of recommended (dugg) videos on www.digg.com - the site that starts the news trends these days.

Pool is seeing a revival among the mainstream via pure entertainment value from videos such as these.

btw: Does anyone here know this guy?

Whomever he is, he sure has some great abilities. Looks like a 4 by 8 table, with huge buckets though.

Looks to me more like a 3'x6', or possibly 1x2m. Also the way the pockets stick out well past the rails is very odd. Are tables like that common in parts of the world, or is that a weird homemade job?

I assembled a cheap Target-bought table for some kids I know and the side pockets stuck way out like in the video. I'm sure that is just a practice table he feels comfortable drilling the slate with masse strokes. Although I didn't see too many burns marks on the cloth, I'm sure they're there. At the end of the video, he posts a website to visit with the web address country code of cz. I assume thats Czech but I dunno.

The guy is from the Czech Republic. He's a nice guy, who practices a lot, but is humble, and doesn't consider himself very skilled. Obviously he knows how to stroke a CB! LOL He says he cannot do the shots on a slate table yet...and has no money to buy one. The table is 3x6, and has a plywood surface, covered with very cheap cloth. That's why the CB jumps like crazy. The whole deal cost the guy under $200.

Wow, only 200 and he made something out of nothing with it. It is a fantastic video. I just wish that the most watched pool broadast was a match instead of just trick shots.

He is talented as hell though, just trick shots arnt my thing, Id rather watch matches.

I agree.

While his trick shots are impressinve, I am even more impressed with the story of his sub $200 table. Goes to show how much desire and talent trumps equipment. That I find inspirational. Next time I start to whine that I *only* have an 8 foot diamond someody slap me.
