Mowdy Cues

Jason,

Great looking cue. I will play you cribbage for a cue. Dollar a game, dime a hole. I know it will take a while, but I am a little more confident in my crib game than my pool game.

Jason is a great guy to deal with and makes a wonderful hitting cue.

Cue has not sold

I promised a couple of people in my area that i would let them have first dibs on it before i posted it in the wfs section... It may be about a week before i post it for sale. thanks for the comments..

How long have you been making cues? construction? How much? Pm if you want.

I started off by buying a 13X36 jet and a band saw in 1999. Since then i am using quite a bit more tools and machines. As for the constuction of the cues im not sure what you are asking. If you want to know if my cues are built completely by me, then yes they are all my work, not parts put together. My cues range from $200 sneakies to $1500 pointed cues with ivory joints, ferrules and inlays. Hope this helps, feel free to ask more i really don't mind.

Here is my latest custom cue made for Mr. Paul Del Giudice, the forearm will be shown later and the cue will also be shown at the SBE show at Valley Forge. The cue is made with ebony, ivory, sterling silver, lapis and a sharkskin wrap.

WOW that Mowdy cue is really sharp and seems well executed, makes my mouth water. That walrus ivory does not seem to have a grain like elephant ivory does. King of "snowflake-ish" looking. Nice job sir.

Thanks, I like the walrus because it is different and has that marble or snowflake look. The core of the tusk is a gel when it is on the walrus thus giving it the marble look.
