There is a new Meucci Sneaky Pete ad in the Wanted/For Sale section...
I replied stating that this model of sneaky pete by Meucci looks to be made from the same blank as J&J and Action (and other imports I'm sure). I didn't bash the item for sale OR the person selling it, but yet my posts have been removed.

This info could be very useful to a person wanting to purchase ANY new Meucci Sneaky Pete, not just this one that's for sale by this seller.

I get a txt message on my personal phone:
"You think knocking my cue on AZ is going to make u look good and bring u business. I reported u"

Now, I've been an active member on this forum since 2003 and have never had ANY of my posts deleted nor rudely contacted on my personal cell! The seller does not know me at all!

Please explain to me what was wrong with my question(s) about this line of Muecci cues!!! And if you feel that you had to delete my post because the OP complained and you agree with me that the info that could have followed my post could greatly help a future purchase of this product, then just delete this post that you're reading and we can just drop the whole issue!

I'm not wilson... The seller was correct and not misleading in his sale post. You're addition is 100% a knock on his item and his post, even though that was not how you intended it to be.
 
I never said his cue was a knock off- I know its not, thats why I asked if meucci may be using same blanks! It was not a knock at all!

You think that's bad? How about a cue maker selling them as custom converted Brunswick's?

I agree, they need to disguise those things better :wink:

That being said, maybe you should have done this with Wilson as a PM.

And if a legitimate question comes up like this one, start a thread in the main forum. Ask the question there. Derailing someones for sale thread to ask your question is bad manners at best.

How can you possibly tell from that photo that they are made from the same blanks? Is there any telltale sign to back up your claim?
 
Look, If I was outta line, then I sincerely apologize to the OP! Those of you that know me, know that I'm not a thread hijacker!

I never said that they ARE made from the same blank, but that they look like the import cues and was wondering if they are made with the same full splice blank!

Moderators, feel free to delete this thread also if needed! I guess I should have just started a new thread about this topic- but when I seen the thread in FS/Wanted section, it triggered something I've been wondering about, so I inquired- NO HARM INTENDED!
