Well...Earl would have lost much more quickly. There is no reason a player can`t be held to a reasonable degreee of sportsmanship. Any player who persists in engaging in unsportsman like tactics just wouldn`t be invited back for another pontential payday. I mean it`s a good gig...

No way to control it?

Dumping or poor sprotmanship, cant be controled once the match has started..., ESPN knows that, they broadcast whatever is going on and we the customers just have to deal with it.

All TAR can do is put people in the Box that want to play and win..., if they dont show up it aint on TAR..., Earl, like Tiger Woods, needs to start winning again, figure out what meds work for him and the results will tell the story...,

If he's winning and playing well, without the antic's its fun to watch, if not oh well.

Don’t let the players complain about what is an “illegal” break, etc. Have set rules and have the referee enforce them. The matches are all recorded, so the ability to replay the “offense” should be no problem. You never see other sports where players determine what the outcome of a foul, error, etc is. FWIW, I think it is “candy ass” to complain about somebody breaking “softly” or about the Magic Rack etc. If you can’t break and achieve the same results of the better breaker, then take your ass to the pool hall and practice up…DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT! (The same thing happened when oversized rackets came into tennis and when oversized drivers came into golf. If the other guy has something that is working and is kicking your ass with it, then do what he is doing and STFU!)

4. Have races/sets where the winner must win by a minimum of "XX" games ahead. When I go to a boxing match, I like to see a clear-cut “winner”, not go away with everyone disputing who the better boxer was.

5. Lastly, I keep hearing about Earl’s game going to “$hit”…has it crossed anyone’s mind that he may have just taken a “dump” for some “guaranteed” cash?

Your 2 cents is about all that post is worth and thats pushing it.
How can a player dump when he only made $1000 less his expenses?

TAR is not the size of HBO.

HBO can loose hundred of viewers and not give a shit.

If TAR did that they would go under.

This is 100%. Earl in the past has been offered cash to dump and turned it down. While not too public consumption and I will not elaborate because those situations are in the past...but it is relevant because Earl won't do it. Many players don't but some do and in high levels of play and it happens a lot more than I sadly must admit.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't one filled with sand, though. :thumbup:

'A' sounds pretty good.

Even Chuck Norris know Earl doesn't dump ... how strong is that?
