#1 was a plain jane, just for practice. Actually I shoot with it and it plays great. This is my second cue. Actually the original #2 was reduced to a pencil because I was adjusting the taper bar. I sharpened the joint pin and use it to pick up leaves and papers in the yard.
The cue in the pic is a break cue. It is 59in long and weighs 18.3oz. The butt is BEM and purple heart. The pieces are spliced at an angle without veneer. It has a full length laminated maple core. The butt cap, joint caps and ferrule are cocobolo dymondwood. It has a 5/16-18 pin. The 30in shaft is purple heart and has a 13.2mm triangle tip. I made all the rings. The slot rings are from a maple billet with purple heart. The solid rings are maple and purple heart.
I'm not a cue builder yet but I'm working on it.
comments, suggestions, criticism, help ??
Thanks,
Kim
