After getting my table restored, I had Shane come over and set it up. It now has Artemis rubber, tour edition cloth, but the pockets are still buckets cause it's the only way I can run a few :grin-square:

Had to use some cloth for a rail so it was a little short.

Let me be the first to tell you -- because I won't be the last -- that is a beautiful table.

Seeing yours, I might even cover mine in blue next time.

BTW, are the red pockets originals, or replicas? If the latter, where did you get them?

Finished work brought to you by Ceuphoric ( shameless plug)

I believe they are they originals. They are a maroon shade but look red in the pictures. Now if I could only get a light like the one in your avatar.

Right on the maroon. I've seen the originals. Used to play on them in my younger days when Annies were more common.

You can get a light like mine. I'm sure my wife would love for me to sell it to you (she hates it), but then I'd just have to make another one.

I too have an Anniversary from around 59 I'm told. Although, it's not NEARLY as nice as yours. Who did the restoration work? Are they the original blind aprons? Mine, in unrestored condition (cosmetically) plays really great but needs some work to look this nice. BTW Shane did mine too. Can't go wrong there. He's good people :D

Anniversary or Centennial...both are classic beauties. They are the only pool tables in my favorite hall. Cindy & I usually plat on the anniversary in the back corner...

That is a beautiful table. How long have you had the table before you restored it?

I picked his one up in May knowing it needed some minor work. This is what it originally looked like:

The restoration was done by Arthur Ball of Ball Billiards in Plano. He does some really good work. The aprons I had were original and they didn't look (too) bad but they had cracks and some bad repair jobs. Arthur had new rails made and they are perfect. The next one I have him do ( there are pieces to an 8' Anniversary (all original) in the background of the photos), I'll make sure to get some before and after photos

Pool tables are green. :groucho: (JimS.. leading a one-man movement to ban all cloth colors except green.)

I DO love those tables.

Thanks for helping me have a flashback to my childhood. I had the same table when i was a kid. i wish dad would have kept it !!

Good Luck with the table
Steve
