My apology

Simple solution, post the youtube link and the truth will be known!

Actually we may never know the truth. Trent could have easiely put those shafts in the box and removed them before it was shipped. Meridianblade could have removed the shafts and then taped the box up again. So we will probably never know. Like I asked earlier..... why should we believe Trent over the guy that almost got screwed?

:idea::idea:Doesn't the post office, UPS, FEDEX etc. weigh each package? Shafts weigh approximately 4 ounces, right? Ok then............................

Who cares

This is a joke. Why do we have to have this crap on here? Realistically, why would a guy take pictures of the cue and shafts in the box, then take them out, ship them and send an apology? Blasting people on the forum is childish, and makes both parties look bad.

Nothing gets solved on the forum, it just gets worse. Now my opinion. I think the seller was wrong in the first place, but now I think the buyer is attempting to pull the wool over everyone's eyes that he has on his side. His gain is to ruin the seller. Too bad.

I have had one transaction on here and it was amazing. I bought a 2011 Josey Cue from someone helping a friend. It was very professional, and we each trusted each other.

I get more and more disgusted with this. AZ should just ban transactions through here.

joey a, you are so right. hopefully Trent saved his mailing receipt. it should have the weight of the package.

I'm starting to agree with your view of this.

Even if he only sent the butt (which i personally don't believe), all meridian wanted was his wood back and his wood wasn't used for the shafts.

I doubt that the weight on the postage label will vindicate. Packaging can be very light or depending on what is used, can be heavy enough to skew any accurate measurement. A shaft can weigh as little as 3oz and more than 4oz.

The picture of the end of a cue butt and 2 shafts does not make this a shipment or even the same cue. I have cues packed in shipping tubes right now. Doesn't mean I'm shipping them and I doubt anyone could identify what kind of cue is in the box.

I'm not saying that Trent is being dishonest here but nothing in these pictures proves he is telling the truth either.

If Meridian has a video showing him opening the package there is really nothing to indicate that it has not already been opened and re-sealed.

I think the history of this transaction since it has become public is more than adequate evidence of ones integrity.

HHmmmmm.....well this is interesting. Someone post a shot of the shipping label for weight verification. And if meridian did not get his shafts he deserves a full refund.....and if he did and is not coming clean about it then.....well jesus christ we have a real humdinger.
