This cue was built by Bill in approx 1974 (35 years ago!) and was used as his personal player until about 1981 when it was refinished and put into his wife's personal collection. The cue was sold out of the collection in 2006 and I am very happy to be the proud owner now. I love this cue.

Thanks,

congrats on the schick

I stared at this cue when it was forsale and refused to know what the price was.. temptation could have had the best of me! Love the fact that Bill Schick did some several classic cues, with this one of his best!

Hopefully the cue wont collect dust and get some table time.

What's really cool is to think of all the action this cue's seen, Bill matching up throughout the 70s. Man, if wood could talk..... :)

Doug, this is really a great cue, and it is also made by one of my favorite cue makers. I am truly jealous and I am not even a real cue collector. In my opinion, Mr Schick's cue are the best investment in the market today, and this cue is the top of that.

Thanks for sharing!!

I can understand why this is your favorite Schick cue, It's beautiful, plus, the history behind it adds to it's beauty.

Hi.

I have to say I have never been a gambler cue enthusiast but this cue is BEAUTIFUL!! Elegant and classic, which is kind of a given considering who made it.

And the Schick name engraved in the buttsleeve makes this cue even better!

I'm actually glad that Mike never responded to my price request... this is my favorite cue Bill did as well...

-Ross
probably couldn't afford it anyways....

Beautiful cue from my favorite cue maker. He's simply the best!

Bill made me mine, almost 20 years ago, and I'll go to my grave with it, still in my hands! LOL!!!

I love this cue. I can just imagine it being used in a smokey pool room in the 70s, $100 dollar bills laid out on the rail. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks guys for all the positive comments, I think the cue is a very unique cue and I feel honored to own it. As of now, I haven't hit a ball with it. It has not been chalked since its refinish, but I probably won't be able to take it much longer.

Schick Cue

This is the type of flagship cue that takes anyones collection - you name them - over the top and makes it unique and unequaled by anyone else's collection.

Congrats ! ! ! :grinning-moose:

Doug:

Trust me, you can take it. I owned the cue for 15 months before I shipped it to you, and never once did I chalk it.
