My first contact with Meullers

Cues

This is terrible, I would be extremely pissed off. Did Meucci give you any reasons why they would not repair the cues for you? That was nice of you to buy your close friends some cues, I have to ask do you need anymore close friends lol

If you know any cue repair people, you should really speak with them about Meucci cues .
Or even get the cue makers opinion on them in ask the cue maker section, in less you are afraid of the truth.
I want you to be 100% happy with what ever cue you buy.
You are dealing with a production cue company that has been plagued with quality control issue for at least 15 years.

I hope you find a good cue that you like.

+1 on Seyberts. Multiple purchases via online/phone. Top notch service every time. One purchase in person (Revo) and that was also top notch

Can't speak as to what they have but in general I prefer dealing with Seyberts ( AZ Marketplace ) for this type of stuff over Mueller. Can't say I've had that bad of an experience with them but I do know Seyberts have been absolutely great and go above and beyond.

This!
Support the business that supports AZ.
I've had some issues with Mueller.
(Had to use them for something Seyberts didn't have)

So last night at my local pool hall the gentlemen let me shoot with his meucci cue he purchased from muellers online. After shooting with the meucci cue I can honestly say I wanted to use my mcdermott as fire wood. The shaft, the hit just felt 100x better. I felt more accurate with the meucci. I really enjoyed playing with it. So I wanted to buy one after that experience, I came home and to my surprise my wife said she would buy me a brand new Meucci cue. I was excited.

I looked on the Muellers website and most of the meucci cues said back ordered except one. so I called and said i seen the site and all of the meucci cues said back ordered. The guy proceeded to tell me they are back ordered from the factory and he had no idea when they would get more in and to keep checking the site, which is fine the response was acceptable.

So I confirmed that they had no meucci cue models in stock, and the call took a turn for the worst here, the guy kinda snapped on me and said "WE HAVE NONE IN STOCK" (a little bit of a shitty tone I may add)

SO I Told him that I did see one on the site that did not say back ordered, he was like oh I may have one of those. So I was like do you have any clue what you do have in stock, sure my comment was a little shitty but it was after his was shitty. "Then he proceeded to get a little loud so I hung up.

Kinda pissed me off, Meucci's are not cheap and Im will to spend so I didn't get this guys attitude. I wont name names but it was bullshit. Really disappointed with the way I was treated after the guy spoke so highly of Muellers at the pool hall. oh well I guess I will figure out where to buy my cue this weekend, I know seyberts is always lights out, top notch service, I just wanted to deal with a dealer that had a wide selection of meucci cues. Thought I would share this experience with the fourms.

I never used RAT as he never got back to me a few times. That is not a reflection on his work.(finished product)
SEYBERTS does repairs also. I had them grove a few wrap-less cues and add either leather or linen. Had shafts tipped and refinished. They do very nice work.

To me a bad day is driving behind Hells Angels and your horn is stuck.

Had a BMW x5 that had a horn that would just randomly honk.
And it would stay on as long or short as it wanted to.
So I could be driving on the freeway and the horn would so several
short honks or sometimes just a really really long one.
Worst was when I was behind someone on a red light and it would start honking.
It didn't matter what I did, lift my shoulders, wave my hands try to
indicate NO NO I don't mean it, people always though I was mad at
them and telling them to get out of the way.
That was my third and LAST BMW (335, m3 x5)
They all had various major problems and almost always electrical of some sort.

Really not digging the style on the first two, 3rd one maybe is the shaft 13mm or 12.5 because you listed both sizes in the auction?

Whoops! 12.5mm shaft.

I also have a 21 ounce Meucci original two point also with a 13mm shaft also for $300.

Bummer

You can find another outlet for Meucci Cues.

I have ordered several things from Seyberts and was in their store in Michigan last year while visiting a friend. They could not have been any more friendly and gave me a tour and even left me alone in their storage area to look at pool cases while they attended to other customers!

An OB Classic shaft they made for me a few years ago was 29 instead of the 30 inches I ordered. They apologized and made another one. I will continue to do business with them.

I ordered a 62" Sneaky Pete from Meucci in 2012. This thing is as plain as a cue can be and has a Black Dot shaft. The shaft is still straight and the cue won me enough tournament money in a 12 month period to put a 9' table and 3 Pat Diviney cues in the back of my big garage.

So I guess I was fortunate and got a good Meucci? Patience in buying some thing often rewards us.

Quick Jack and done....sorry to hear about the horn but it's funny afterward. I had a tracking system installed in my Mustang. The horn would go off if the car was moved 1/2 mile from where it was parked. I'm in stand still traffic and the sucker gives a study blast and will not stop. Aside from being 200% embarrassed I'm waiting for some douche to take my head off. Anyway I pull over and disconnect the horn...drive home and remove the system. No more aftermarket stuff for me.

You also might try Joe Nielsen at Nielsen Billiards. He is top notch in my book.

Buy a Mezz, and be done with it.

Jay, Schon and Mezz were voted the 2 best "production" cues by azbilliards members. Schon got 212 votes while Mezz got 99 (this was an older poll and Mezz has become a lot more popular since). I'm not typically one for popularity contests, but I think you would be remiss to not try hitting with similarly priced cues that have a better reputation.

Keep calling until a girl answers and you will be very happy. She is as nice as they come and you will be happy.

I'm sorry about that. How did you contact me? Sometimes, our filters do not let emails through. Either way, I try to answer every email/ PM I get.

I've also been out of the shop for 13 weeks recovering from shoulder surgery. I'm back now.

With all the free info available with little effort concerning Meucci cues, anyone buying one deserves what they get !!!

There are three rules to running a good business: Customer Service, Customer Service and Customer Service! Without them we have no business!

I totally agree. Seybert's has been great to me in the past. Their rewards program is a little bonus. Also, PoolDawg's customer service is great. I called them about a product or an order of a product (can't remember) and was put in touch with a guy at the warehouse who was very knowledgeable about my shipment, as if he put it in the box himself.
