I did have a couple of $20 dollar cues when I was a teen. This is really my first real player cue. I bought this Palmer from a pro named Barry Greenberg ohterwise known as the Jolly Green Giant, I guess becuase he was about 6ft 6inchs. It was around 1971 and I had gone down to the Golden Cue in Queens NY where all The players hung out at the time. I asked the desk guy to let everyone know I was looking for a Balabushka. He did announce that for me and in less than a minute Steve Mizerak comes over to me and trys to sell me his Bushka for $75. Being I didnt know much about cues, I said no thanks, because it had no linen on it, it had fallen off and he was playing with it like that. What a mistake huh. Then Big Barry comes over and shows me this beautifull cue and says its a Bushka. I bought it for $100. This cue has tons of play on it, and still looks great. Check out the Alton Caps
I played with that cue for about 20 years....and I still have it and still love it.
Heres my almost a Balabushka...LOL PALMER
