I too recall the original gushing post by Mawissa about her tour of the IPT as given by Deno. I cannot say for sure that SM said directly that she recieved the VIP treatment, but my recollection is that it was certainly implied. That is Marissa's style from what I've seen ... but editing, claiming ignorance and suggesting others made this up is bovine manure imo.

If you are groupies I am the biggest one... i show up every where in Europe.. and i even get VIP treatment at the World poolmasters and the mosconicup.. Not that i recall what that means.. but that will be because there is always a lott of boose going around.:o

Come on get real! enjoy the games...life is to short to waste your time on this... so Life is short watch and play pool...

If you've got a job and do not rely on pool to be your only/main source of income... you've got a chance. LOL :p

When Niels was younger, he use to stay with me in the States. Niels got the name The Dyke while he was over here from a fairy tale of a kid that stuck his finger in a leaking dike to save it from breaking and flooding Holland.

To anyone that knows him in the States, refer to him as The Dyke, and not The Terminator. Anyone of the guys I met when I went to Holland, I refer to them as Dykeboys, like Alex, Nick and Rico.

I will not touch Alex, but I do enjoy hanging out with him and watching him play when he's in the States for tournaments.

Niels could tell you alot more about the Dyke thing the next time you see him in a tournament.

Ohhhhmmmmm:o i'm embarresed now!!!!! really am... very, very, very......!! I thought you ment dike boys....men what kind of glasses did i have on... It's even more funny then the story you tell: Alex play's for DIJKJE Duinzigt.... and i still didn't get it... and i play there aswell....... my bad!!.:o :o

I will give you an answer to your question: Kat will kill me if i kiss Niels...;) With Rico i only hugg ( one of the most integer guys i ever met!!!).... Nick is just adorable... we stay polite and kiss eachother the usual 3 dutch kisses... And Alex is my pall.... and at the picture.. i was so proud he won a big tournament again after the Europeans Last year!

This is getting really really good (or bad I guess)! Timberly won this thing ... Now can everybody just get along? Also, let's leave rackmsuckr out of this. One IPT apologist(SM) is enough, although I suspect that Timberly could take them both! JMOICBW (but probably not)...............Marc
 
I'm never going to sleep again, I keep missing the good stuff. I'm glad that we all have kept our sense of humour during the trying times of the IPT mess.

I guess the funny part of the story was Niels was so proud of his name the Dyke from the fable that my mom told and that the kid was a hero in Holland. So we had been calling him The Dyke for a long time and one day we were on the computer at a friends house and a picture of two girls were kissing on it and it referred to them as dykes. Thats when Niels got pissed because he realized all this time we were calling him a lesbian. He was mad from a few days but then was okay with us calling him The Dyke still.

I've met Kat a couple of times and I really like her and think they make a great couple.

My friends over here thing Nick and I look alike and refer to us as brothers.

I was very happy for Alex for winning the Europeans as well and I was happy to see Rico on the IPT because for a while there I thought he quit the game.

Nice talking to you and if possible as Niels about the story as he could tell it to you a little better.
