I finally have something to contribute. Here it is unfinished but getting close can't wait to have it in my hands....

A few more coats and a nice leather wrap and I'm all on it....
 
Get those Matching Caps From Mike!!

Hey Steve,
Tell Mike you'ld like to get the matching cap no mater what the cost.. With his logo on the top.. It will make the cue complete!!
Now's the time to get it when the cue is still there..
You'll want that double ring and if can,
the Diamonds, to make that cap full -on..
Mike makes only a few Cues a year.
Keep that in mind

Mike's construction methods place his cues in another zone. IMHO they are the best playing cues on the planet.

That's what I said.

I already told my g/f to get ready for the cue's quality time as well :D

As for the wrap it's going to be leather with a real fine texture.


Thanks for the compliments guys it seems like the cue I've been waiting for since I started shooting....

I got to tell you that Mike, if you gave him a tree branch and a pocket knife he could turn that branch into an unbelievable cue. Seriously tho, he is such a talented guy its almost scary. I would take any cue that comes from his hands, today and forever. Keep up the great artistry.
I hope Mike is #1 on Bills new site LOL......

I'd have to agree, and I can't say how lucky I feel to have one of his cues coming to me....
 
I was at Scruggs shop yesterday when you cue was being photographed. Nice cue, you will love it.

I agree with the other poster, have Mike make the custom caps for the cue.
 
Chances are

If you are anything like me your Cochran Cue will be out way to much to be needing joint protectors! :D

I cant wait to hit with this one. I know you will love the cue and how it plays,hits and looks. Mike is the best as far as I am concerned. I said it before and I will say it again,"Get a Cochran or get beat by one.":)
 
I think our approach is best David. Play with one while someone else beats you using another :D especially the TWO you got.

I am going to Tim's shop next weekend. Can't wait to see the new toys in progress. I only wish I could get me another one...
