A big thanks to the Chicago dynamic duo of John Davis and Tim Prince for making me a nice looking and good playing pool cue. 4 point 4 veneer (black, orange, light green, natural) cocobolo into lightly figured curly maple John Davis fullsplice blank. The points are dead even. Classic diamonds and dots inlays front and back. Italian scotch grain leather wrap. The 4 oz. shafts have a comfortable taper and the cue is very well balanced at 19" from bottom of buttcap.
This cue is not for sale but please note that Tim (and also John/ Tim) has converted quite a few of John's blanks and he is always an excellent choice for a Davis blank cue build. About 15 new John Davis fullsplice blanks are due arrive this week.

Very nice! Can't go wrong with John and Tim. Note
the double rings at the joint, so you can exchange
aftermarket shafts without having to match rings.

Tim and john's work is really underrated. They play and look great. If I have time this weekend I will post a picture of mine.
