I think... i've been there. I was backpacking with my brother and yeah that place is pretty awesome.

Was he a little heavy?

A beautiful room it is. Too bad its a tad out of the way for most of us.

Twould be fun to try Russian Pyramid some time.

Knowing myself, I'd get hooked on it and wouldn't be able to find a table in N America within a 25 hr drive.

I bet they also have a dress code there and for good reason, unlike other places I have read about. Still, they probably allow Hoodies
if its cold outside. The Cee Zech Republic can get quite cold in the winter.

I'd like to redesign the room. That middle row has to go.
The tables on the left stay where they are...the tables on the right get
turned sideways....you don't lose any tables, and everybody has a place
to sit when not shooting.
And the lighting has to go...I gotta wear a hat with those fixtures.

Is it true in the 'Check' Republic that running english is frowned on?

Gary,

Your place looks awesome too. The pyramid table looks unreal. I noticed it's for sale for $7,500. I'm just wondering why. Lack of play? How's business overall? It looks like you have just about everything under one roof including a kitchen. Can the "ultimate" business model work for billiards? In the end does success still boil down to liquor sales?

Thanks,

If you are a pool room owner wannabe why not open a multidiscipline room in Houston? Pool, snooker, carom, pyramids, all under one roof. Think about it and report back here.

Great looking room. My first thought was that the place would sound fantastic when full, those huge rooms have interesting acoustics.

Terry, when you come up we'll go to Pacific. George bought a set of Russian Billiards balls from an old customer a few weeks back. Quinten talked me into a game of 9 ball with them on one of the tight pocketed Nationals :rotflmao1:

Yeah, and we could make it multi-story. Could have individual floors of all table sizes: 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 11ft and 12ft. Could have a floor dedicated to bagatelle and could also have a hotel with 128 rooms used for tourney players only. Parking could be an issue.
