All of Jims cues hit well.Ive never played with one that I did not like.
I think your cue is one of my favourite JMW cues.
Congrats on your cue.

Wow, those are extremely flattering words considering your JMW collection! I will definitely be enjoying this cue for a long time to come.

It turned out even better than I imagined, Zack.

You should be very proud of your imaginative design.

Jim knocks another one out of the park.

I've got to try to get some good pictures of the whole thing because the impact is so much better when you can see the whole cue. The design definitely flows perfectly and everything that's supposed to be sharp is very sharp. Also, the points are incredible as well. All the levels line up and none are off more than about 1/32" or so. Jim did an incredible job on this cue and made my design even better with his workmanship.

Gorgeous cue! Love the bridged veneers and curly maple. Congratulations!

Yeah, the curly maple is nuts. It's definitely the most figured curly of any cue I've ever owned!

New cue opinion

Nice cue and design.....

I'm a big fan of Paul Mottey and James White's cues and James executed your design perfectly. I've owned and played with James's cues and I know from my experience that they play well. I know that you'll enjoy your new cue.

JMW Cue

Zeeder, you have outdone yourself with that design! Understated elegance, exquisitely executed. I always loved that Skip that you designed with the snakewood, hope you kept that one!

Thanks Joe, you've come up with some pretty spiffy designs for JMW's here as of late as well. I can't express how ecstatic I am with how this cue came out, he took my vision and executed it better than I thought was possible. Not to mention the fact that Jim is a great guy to work with. The whole experience is one that I will never forget and I hope that I get to enjoy this cue for, at least, 40, or so, years!

Bump for a beautiful cue. I hope to put in an order soon with that shop (Mottey, White). How long did it take if you wouldn't mind telling?

The cue took a little over a year. Jim did a fantastic job on this cue. All of the inlays are so sharp it's incredible. I highly recommend the mottey shop!

Incredible cue you have there. What material did he use in the ring work between the ivory bands? It was a very nice touch.

Phenomenal ringwork, although I've seen Jim do a better one which was posted not long ago....But the ringwork is just DAMN!

You got a great cue zeeder, respect.

The ring work is ivory and blood wood.

That is a fantastic design in the ring work. Is that also blood wood in the veneers or is it dyed sycamore? Good luck with it!

The points are ebony, double bloodwood, maple and ebony for the hardwood bridged recuts!

Full Cue

I just thought I'd add a picture of the full cue. It's not a great picture but it gives an idea of the flow of the cue.

Wow, Jim has done it again. The man has ability beyond his tender young age. The execution of your cue is as good as any I have ever seen.
