My New Steve Lomax Player

I just got my new Lomax cue and I thought I would share a few pics for you guys. I would say many of you only know Steve from his partnership with Joe Blackburn at all of the major tournaments but Steve is a very accomplished cuemaker. I had Steve build me a player to my specs and it turned out fantastic. The cue is 60" ebony into birdseye with a white butterfly (dufferin blank). He did the custom rings with white/black phenolic with sterling silver accents. He adds a nylon insert to all shaft threads for stability and feel. The cue looks, feels and plays great and I certainly couldn't beat the turnaround or the price. This is his basic cue design and is $400......and worth every nickel. Steve also makes the sickest jump cue on the market. Shannon Daulton is a player rep for these jump cues and readily admits it the greatest weapon he has in his arsenal.

If anyone here wants to contact Steve about repair or a new cue order you can contact him here on AZ, his ID is Stevel.

Thanks Steve,
Daniel

Steve is from Alto, GA.

He has been making some of the best j/b cues around for quite some time and is finally getting some recognition as a cue craftsman. If you are ever in need of any repairs he is definitely one of the best in the biz.

i met him at Valley Forge with Joe.seems like a super nice guy too and he knows his stuff.

Thanks Daniel and others for the kind words. It's rewarding to know I have another satisfied customer. I am leaving in the morning for Vegas to help Joe Blackburn for a couple of weeks with repairs.

Thanks Again,

Steve Lomax

Valley Forge...

I met Steve at Valley Forge this past March. His cues are incredibly well crafted. He also has a great deal of knowledge concerning a lot of cuemaking pioneers. Would love to have some of the proto types he mentioned that are in his possesion! Hope he gets the reputation and accolades that he should.
