My New/Used Table Has Arrived

My almost new Valley Cougar arrived this morning. It's all set up with new cloth and new Ridgeback rails, making all 6 pockets 4 1/4". I believe one of the mechanics said it came off one of the cruise ships down here in FL. It was set up perfect (not a bad roll anywhere) and with the new Ridgebacks it plays much better than a brand new Valley.

I can't say enough about Robertson's in Tampa where I bought the table. They are family owned since 1930 and I felt like I was doing business with a Mom & Pop store from the 1950's. They gave me a very fair price on the table, delivered and set-up, covered rails, and took old Valley away. They came when they said they would and the two mechanics were a pleasure to have to my home. Anyone that lives in the Tampa Bay area I encourage you to try Robertson's the next time you need anything billiard or gameroom related. Johnnyt

Wait, wait, WAIT! I thought you ran out of Viagra and Celebrex!

;)

Congrats on your new table Johnny. I wish I lived closer so I could come over pretending I was a UPS delivery boy on payday. :grin-square:

Thank you Bob. I got a second wind from somewhere. I'm sure it has nothing to do with stopping the 2 pack a day non-filtered Camels, the weed, pills and 90 proof, and losing 50 LBS .. Johnnyt

Damn son...what did you do with the real Johnny?

J/k....good for you Johnny. Sounds like there's a new kid in town.

Congrats on your new to you table johnnyt!!! As was already stated, I thought you gave up the game. Very glad you got that 2nd wind. Have fun as I'm sure you always do.

Well, I have more than six hours in on the table already since yesterday at 1PM. I feel great, back not sore, knees not too bad, no SOB, and I can fade the Arthritis most days. This Valley plays as good as any I've ever played on and I've played on 100's of them. Now if I can get the wife from nagging, "Don't over due it or I'll take a hammer to the table this time". I'm not afraid of her. I can take her two out of three falls even tho she knows some of that Karate crap...LOL. Johnnyt
