My pool game is really suffering

or go out and gamble at pool. and bet enough so when you win its exhilarating and when you lose its punishing. gets the adrenaline flowing and gives a reason to play.

To be honest, bumper pool seems like a lot of work.
Lots of fun...it goes on and on. It's strategic. All about banks/caroms/blockers..... and not missing. I have a weekly game. We're both getting better. It's like any other game... start to learn the moves and the fun begins. Small table. Don't need a master mechanic to service it. Does not take up the entire room. Uses inexpensive cues, balls. Challenging. One pocket has screwed me up... I have a love for Bumper Pool and Cornhole

Go dabble in some deep evolutionary Philosophy.
Then,..... When you have "no idea," (aka: the WTF moment), go back and play pool.
Yes, I will contemplate technological singularity for the next 30 days and thirty nights, it's implications for humanity, and therefore my pool game. Then surely will be time for nine ball

at least you put a pool cover on the table before using it as a dump (is that an old diamond?) You can be saved...also hang some garlic on the front door.

Looks like there's some potential for a dart board with a little bit of moving some things or putting more on the pool table.
There could be a whole new world open to you: https://www.dartsnutz.net/forum/
Yep, I've got the bristle dart board and a set of hammerheads packed away somewhre. They do shall be resurrected soon enough as well.

Fixed, per your advice. Now my invisible assailants shall be kept at bay.

Whatever you do, don't lay the board or darts on the pool table. It's a black hole where things will disappear forever. :ROFLMAO:
(I have places like that in my house also)

Ms. Pac-Man is tuff action, and she hates one pocket.
When I first started playing pool the pool room I went to had a ms pac man. I played that thing almost every day. I got to where I could score over 100k on it almost every game. About a year or so ago I was at a room that had one and I just had to try it. I think I got like 5000 points. Even my ms pac man game is suffering.

I feel ya. Ms Pac man will torture you if you don't keep up with her wishes.

Well, if you've played long enough & had some success, you'll be sorry if you sell your Cues, for cheap. I quit for 20 years, because I went away to work 60 hours a week & be a Daddy & a Husband. I came back in 2001, after retiring from BOEING in '98... won a few tournaments & was right back in there. I still had my old Hoppe...

Since you still have a Pool Table, you could invigorate your game by practicing. The new man on YouTube is Chris Edwards, He is Poolometry, this guy knows banking & he's a great Guy. He's a starting Instructor & he'll be a good one. I thinks his next project will be positioning the Cue Ball. It won't be long & he'll be a shining light.

I started the BreakRAK business & 23 years later I'm still marketing the BreakRAK & my Book. Maybe you could re-do Pool Tables, or sell Cues... or something, but if you wanna quit, you won't be missed. Leaving Pool will be like leaving Football, your TV won't care & nobody will miss you for long...

Ok, ok...I've prioritized work over play the last few years. And just literally sold the farm and moved to the new homestead back in June, so just now getting settled. I'll get a necromancer to raise my game from the dead, promise. Too many people yet to beat and get beat by, lol.
