I see there are a few posts out there with thanks to the moderators in banning Mr. Wheat.

I have met some really cool people and have acquired a great deal of pool knowledge through this place. I am sorry for the hardship that some of you may have had from Mr. Wheat. I just want to personally come on here and apologize to the AZ community. I think it was me who mentioned to Eddie about this great place. If you look at his first post, you'd see it was me posting Ed's experience with Shorty (Previous troublemaker). How ironic it is that both are banned for personal attacks. I had no idea that his posts would become train wrecks. I thought he would mix in well since there are a ton of different personalities who post on here, but I guess I was wrong.
 
You don't owe us any apology. But, let's put this thing with EW to rest. I've tried not to read too much of it myself.

I had a minor PM flame war with one of the mod's who moved a post by a respected member, Jack Madden, to the cue forum. It was a fun thread,with a few pic's of cue's. Jack has never used this forum as a "free" shot at promoting his cuemaking business. I pointed out EW's blatant abuse of AZB.
I was asked why I "had it in" for Ed Wheat, who as we all know, took self- promoting and egomaniacal rants, to a new level.
The OP here has nothing to apologize for. All he's guilty of is be-friending someone not worthy of his friendship. I promise Mr. Modman, this will be my last post on the "trainwreck" that could have been avoided.

Biro lang means "just kidding"in tagalog. I didn't give a hoot about any of the Wheat garbage except for the cue which I was interested in acquiring. The barking was just soap opera stuff and I find the soaps boring.

Arnold, you did the right thing to introduce someone to AZ. That's how AZ became the forum it is.

It was Eddie Wheat alone that chose to invade this great forum. Now he's gone. And that's a good thing.

On a side note; I got hit pretty hard by hurricane Ike. Just got power on after a 5 day loss. With a lot of work I'll be back to normal sooner or later. The most important thing is that my family and I weren't hurt.
We can overcome the property damage... no big deal.

I'm only mentioning this experience because I know for a fact that there are bigger and more important things in this world than Eddie Wheat, at least to me. He's now only a faint memory!

Rodney and his family is ok from the hurricane. They evacuated and has returned home.

Marissa - The short answer is he is a brash, self-promoting cuemaker who promised a lot and didn't deliver... and then acted as if he shouldn't be held accountable for his actions... or at least that is my take on it.

Maybe you should rethink your opinion of Shorty as well...
