Picked this up and can’t figure it out. Triple veneer. Black, blue and white. Can’t find any markings anywhere.

Here is a closer pic of the veneers. Hate the wrap.

Huge gap between the points.

Thin metal rings?

Import? Hate to say that.

Can we get a close up of the pin?

Cool cue.

.

reminds me of cues from a guy named Pete Deeder"
basic classic style 3/8 10 pin, great playing cues too"
I think Milwaukee or Indiana-used to sponsor the mid west 9 ball tour

Duane,
I believe Pete Deeder was from Griggsville, Illinois.

Doubtful an import. One of the shafts is made from a Predator blank(almost positive). Seen Phillippi’s with bigger gaps than this.

A Predator shaft would not rule out an import at all. You could buy one with that ring.

But anyway, I don't mean I think it is an import. I realize now it sounded like that though.

It has those thin rings which are common among imports. It can help narrow down the maker, as can the widely spaced points. I was just pointing out features that would perhaps narrow it down. I really don't know on this one.

And that's why I was hoping to see the pin as well.

From the photo's provided, the pin seems to be an old round/bullet nose 3/8-10. It is hard to tell though from the current pics.

Here is a pic of the pin.

I had a cue very similar to this years ago, 10 or more. I’ve probably got pics if they didn’t get lost when my computer took a mega dump once. Same spaced points, which I like and same pin and thin ring. Seems like it also didn’t have a name, or maybe it did. I’ll do some looking....

Update: This isn’t the cue I’m thinking of in this post but I also had a Varney with that exact joint

Pin Size

Possibly an old Bludworth?

That is what I thought too.
Something about it.
Get a ruler, measure the Joint Screw.. how much threads in an inch.. Top /crest / to top/ crest ( Full Threads)

If you get 11, it's a Bluthworth.

Measure the Outside diameter.
If it is around .348", it's Lenard's Pin.
No other 3/8" x 10 or 11 will/should fit correctly.
The nominal size is too small. Going be loose..
