Name For A New Pool Hall

The Rogue Cue

Billiards and Blues....that's part of the name of our only poolhall here, which is also non-alcohol, no age limit. They play alot of blues music, which is a nice backdrop to play pool by.

The Library....name of a little bar that used to be outside of George Mason University...don't know if it's still there or not.

IT IS AN 8 TABLE ROOM, KIND OF OLD SCHOOL BUT NOT DARK AND SMOKEY. NO BEER OR ALCOHOL. NO AGE RESTRICTIONS.

P.S. IT'S ALSO THREE MINUTES FROM A COLLEGE.

To attract college students, something funny with a double entendre seems best, like maybe "Nice Rack" or "Free Ballin'" or "Blue Ball Billiards" or "The Stroke" or "Big Stick Billiards". If you're worried about turning off families with sexual double meanings, then maybe it's not such a great idea, but how many families really go out to pool rooms anyway?

There was a tiny pool hall here in north county that went outta biz that I'm sure nobodies ever heard of that used to be called "Green Felt Downs" if you like something like that..

DJ[/QUOTE]

I have heard about a place in Encinitas that use to be called the "Lumber Yard". Where was "Green Felt Downs"? By the Del Mar racetrack??

How about...
"Fast N Loose Billiards"?

and on Friday nights, all guys named after Egyptian things play for free!!
i agree with pharaoh "Fast n Loose Billiards" I think thats a great name (but use a small n)
And anyone who uses a small n in their handle gets 1 hour of free play every Saturday. Here are my contributions..The Hangout, Players Club, Break n Run, Racktime Billiards.

You could also run a name contest at the college, not only to advertise, but maybe get some cool names.Winner plays free for a month.

I think incorporating the street name is a good idea since it will also convey where your place is located.
