You probably want clearer pictures and a few more of them close up of different areas for anyone to identify it.
The wood looks cheap in the forearm though, unless it's made of a normally wide grained wood like that.

I wanna guess !!! It's fuzzy and too far away and you've cut off the meaningful part of this cue to make a decent guess but...
Oak forearm, thick taper, thin black ring under short metal collar...
It looks like a 1st or 2nd year Ray Schuler. The joint would obviously confirm or reject that theory.

I think that wrap looks like nylon maybe because of the poor picture quality. It may not be.

lol. Honestly it looks cheap to me also. but i'm not good at knowing cues like many others. it is pretty old. I do appreciate the guesses. when i get the chance, i'll post better pics. thanks.
Could it be a National Billiards era Helmstetter. Looks like the same joint and butt sleeve.
Not sure, but the forearm of the butt appears Very Fat...that could be a giveaway. Or a homespun, is it straight?
