Over all the years of shooting I really don't remember using it. Can someone please tell me how they like it compaired to Masters.. Thanks

I bought a box a while ago, used a piece for about 5 mins then went back to masters, too soft and far too messy.

chalk it up to experience

in the 60's i would only play with National chalk - only chalk i wouldn't miscue with when froze on rail(playing with level cue) - at some point only Master chalk would allow me to shoot this way - a friend of mine in billiards supplies was amazed that i had folowed the chalk through a name change - National had moved to Macon GA and Master was now produced in "my kind of town" He told me that silicon sand is the main ingredient of cue chalk and Chicago is near the world's best supply - from then on he only stocked chalk from Tweeten - i remain loyal to this brand today;i have found nothing better - (would love a response from Tweeten Fibre for confirmation)

So Masters is what you use now? I have used Masters for since the 80's I have tried others that is just as cheap and easy to get and IMO nothing out performs Masters..

Anybody know anything about Magic Chalk, from Russia??? There's some for sale in the For Sale forum.

Hey buddy get your own thread.. LOL Sorry I don't know about it.. But it is thought to be true that the Blue Dimond chalk is the same as the pre flag masters.

Not sure how true it is but I will stick with the Masters as the blue dimond is about $7 for a box of two.

Warning

This chalk is made from the fingers of Eskimos. They tie off the finger till it turns the right shade of blue and then smash it to a powder (it's very cold up there). They don't even pay them for their time. Fortunately a little know fact of Eskimos is that they have the ability to grow their fingers back. THAT STILL DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!

There is nothing magic about it. They take the eyeballs of kittens and roll them like boooogers until they turn to dust. This dust goes for $5.00 per pound on the black market. Please avoid using it.

I used the NTC green for a year or so. It seems softer than Master, and really coats the tip. The down side was it did tend to build up on the tip a little bit, and I seemed to go through a peice much more quickly than Master.

I have a few pieces you could try out, if you would like. Just pay shipping.

Thanks but the auction ends tomorrow so I would not be able to try them out in time. No big deal I will just get some Masters when needed. I have a full box now but wanted to get a gross that should last a while...

masters

masters pre USA flag is the best chalk i have ever used the newer version which is still pretty good but it doesn't compare to the old school stuff NTC ranks 3rd

Yea no shit.. If I could find some in tan that would be great.. Heck at this point if I could find it in Blue that would be great also. I can still change the felt color up to the day they deliver..
