Natural Cures---anyone changed?

Just wondering if anyone has been reading Kevins book and changed their lifestyles for the better because of it. I am interested in knowing if anyone is feeling the tremendous positive effects good health has on your game. I have been juicing (organically), cleansing, 100% drug free and do spend a lot of time at the gym. The minor adjustments and intenseness since reading Kevins book 16 months ago has made the biggest noticable differences, mainly in my game. I truly feel bionic at the table. Many of my students have changed just because of the the health sections I teach here at the Academy of the Cueing Arts. I highly recommend A. Oyster Power juice drink. Highly intense Bionic feeling with a capital B.

i have been taking 2 tablespoons of pure honey six times a day and i dont have authoritus any more but the bees follow me everywhere and keep stinging me all over my body.

I've been taking Mosconi pills. I can now run balls in my sleep. Unfortunately, that is the only time I'm running any balls.

On a serious note....I would not read a book by some A -hole who know absolutely nothing about health or the human body.

I've been eating an exclusive diet of granola and purified oxygen molecules with Lobster Antennae extract added. I feel great, and I no longer have to pay for toilet paper, I simply use a broom and a dustpan.

I'm sure living a healthy lifestyle can positively impact not only peoples pool game but a host of other things they do as well.

What really strikes me is the true brilliance of KT's book (which I haven't read) and its marketing plan.

Normally people (ahem) of his ilk... will market a product targeting peoples simply gullibility, or their vanity, or their compassion, or their guilt, or their fear, or some combination of the above. And cynicism normally is the enemy of all of these strategies.

KTs brilliance is that he has found a way to embrace that very cynicism and put it to work. He targets that libertarianesque anti-government, anti-establishment cynicism, and he's found a large group with the contradictory trait that their gullibility actually derives from their cynicism.

I just wish he'd quit the health business and find the aiming system those pros don't want us to know about.

Ahhhh, might this just belong in the NON-POOL forum?????

Aoyster,I know what you are talking about. Its a shame these guys on this board are so ignorant about alternative meds and juicing, thats why they tried to make fun of what you wrote.K.T.s book is a sham though. If you want to read about juicing and getting healthy without prescription medicine read DR. Schultz.you can find his stuff on the web.

my 2 cents

Healthy living does not come in the form of a book written by a KT. It comes in the form of common sense...common sense tells me that a well balanced diet free from perservatives and man added fats is great. Fruit, fruit juices, vegtables, and vegtable juices will obviously increase your health. Add these things with quality excersize and you have a plan for success. Just take this advice and save yourself some money on buying his book or any other book that discusses health. It always has been and always will be about healthy diet, clean lifestyle, and quality excersize.

I sort of agree except for the juices and books comments. A lot of prepackaged juices are not too healthful, use spoiled fruit, too much sucrose, colorings and preservatives, etc. and can add unwanted weight, increase blood sugar, etc. So it isn't "obvious" that those will increase your health.

If you want to go to all the trouble though, you can buy a quality juicer/extractor, buy only fresh, organically-grown veggies and fruit and have at it. But, even this doesn't guarantee effective nutrition as the changing nature of produce affects the nutritional value greatly.

And, I feel I shouldn't ever have to say this, books are a great way to learn. Much better than just conjuring up "obvious" conclusions that could actually be harmful, not beneficial. If you don't read books, how do you know that Kevin's is not worth reading?

I'll make it really simple for you. Do you know a simple way to find out the exact contact points for any given angle for any shot on both the OB and the CB? If you don't, then you don't know the right aiming system, if you do then you do.....
